Another shrewd investment;
“The evolution of the conventional portfolio continues to result in positive revisions to the already large potential identified. Additionally, the dataset is becoming more robust with each completed phase of processing and interpretation, which bodes well for the ongoing farm-out process.
“Increased potential has been quantified in the two primary target zones: the Schrader, which contains a shallow topset play similar to that in which most of the recent large discoveries have been made on the North Slope; and the Torok, where Project Icewine is favourably located compared to where the recent USGS upgrade identified the core part of the Torok play, which remains largely underexplored on the Slope.”
GS have been manipulating this share for a considerable time.
I sincerily believe that in result of events and the unease in the future, that figure of $400 million definitely needs to be looked at.Surely it follows, that oil in a calmer part of the world, has increased in value.

88E to become the minority interested partner. That's a big bump in the road of the creamy curve with a 70% reduction in revenue (if there is any). If no success next year, surely Dave will be writing thousands of letters of apologies to long term shareholders convinced just like he was of success.
Additional Details
· 88 Energy to retain 30% working interest in Area A
· Premier has an option to earn 50% working interest in Area B or C by spending US$15m, if the Charlie-1 (Malguk-1 appraisal) well in Area A is successful
· 88 Energy to operate the Charlie-1 (Malguk-1 appraisal) well via its wholly owned Alaskan subsidiary, Accumulate Energy Alaska In
With the share price static I forecast a GS RNS.
Premier Oil
Interims from Premier yesterday but as always not much to add to recent operational updates. Operationally PMO has maintained its strong performance, shown in record production of 84.1 kboed led by Catcher with an operating efficiency of 99%.
Tolmount-the next Catcher- is on schedule with development, appraisal and exploration opportunities and is under budget and will be the medium term driver for Premier’s performance. As for Zama, readers will know that I am not at all surprised that is up for sale, as a stand alone unit in a hot area of the world raising some much needed loot to pay down debt it has been an obvious candidate for the exit door.
Selling Zama conveniently leaves Sea Lion, where the farm-out process has been formally restarted, as the next big growth project for Premier and with all the documentation in place the company cannot be far from the final stages of what has been a long process. Finally from the statement it seems that the company is following some of the smaller companies in the sector into Alaska which increases the risk in the portfolio, something I have to say comes as a surprise to me. Apart from that Premier is in outstanding nick and like a number of others in the sector, way too cheap.
Could not agree more.
Just sheer manipulation.
I disagree.
The focus in the update was on getting the debt down.
Catcher producing profit and the sales Zama/Sea Lion helping as well.
That seems to be the majority of the Boards strategy.
Premier is also looking to sell part of its 60% stake in the Sea Lion exploration blocks off the Falkland islands, it said.
"Premier Oil continues to make good progress," said David Barclay, senior investment manager at Brewin Dolphin.
Production from Premier's operated Solan field averaged 4.0 kboepd (Premier-operated 100 per cent interest), slightly ahead of forecast and driven by excellent plant operating efficiency. A new Solan production well (P3) is planned for Spring 2020 to boost production from the central northern part of the reservoir and to extend field life. Premier has reached agreement with Baker Hughes, a GE company, to align payment with milestone dates, reducing Premier's cash outlay prior to the completion of the well. On the successful completion of the P3 well, excess gas will be used to replace diesel as a fuel for power generation on the facility.

Sea Lion funding update
Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin and the Greater Mediterranean region, is pleased to announce that the Preliminary Information Memorandum ("PIM"), which will form the basis of a loan application for the Sea Lion senior debt project financing, has been submitted to potential senior lenders. The PIM submission is supported by a comprehensive set of independent expert reports covering the full range of technical, reservoir, HSSE, legal and tax aspects of the Sea Lion project. As part of the PIM submission process, lender due diligence advisers, including financial and legal advisers have been appointed.
Sam Moody, CEO of Rockhopper, commented:
"The submission of the PIM marks a material milestone in the project financing process for the Sea Lion development. Should the application be well received, we anticipate moving into a phase of detailed lender due diligence and documentation during Q4 2019."

18% there to manipulate and make money.
With the influence of Goldman Sachs.
This is the start of the comeback.
No more meddling.
I think or should I say hope that there may be light appearing to a field that has almost been completely written off.
"The Premier-operated Solan field has averaged 4.1 kbopd (Premier 100 per cent) year to date. During the first quarter, Premier sanctioned the drilling of a new producer (P3) in 2020 targeted at increasing production from the central northern part of the Solan field."
RNS In my estimation keeping the share price hovering around the finish today.
Seems for whatever reason to keep it from moving up.
