And low and behold, today, CEY -0.49%, Poly +1.34%...

Geez. I said earlier that it seems that Poly and CEY seem to go in opposite directions lately and don't follow the POC quite so much.
There was an RNS on CEY for a director purchase at 9:53 today and there's then a sell off on POLY and a buying run on CEY...
Someone's just done better than me on that trading so congrats to them

Interesting to see that today Poly is up +0.72% and CEY is down -1.41%.
Clearly these PM trades are not exactly following the price of gold. Last week CEY was the outperformer vs the POC and so far today it's POLY.
I did ok yesterday. Whacked in a load and sold most of it for a small profit at the end of the day. Wish I'd held at least until this mornings peak now.
Watching for the upward trend to continue hopefully

I guess not many people are interested in Mondi? I'm currently looking at the stock, and note that August 6th Credit Suisse announced a target of 2500, just after a +14% growth earnings call on the 4th. But since the 4th where there was this nice growth, the share has dropped 12%.
Personally I'm wondering if we will see a small upward trend from today.

There may be a small entry point for some people here, but for me, with ADM still being shorted and Barclays and Goldman targeting 3060 and 3010, my feeling is we'll see this drop to around the 2880 support line before bouncing, if the economy is looking good.

I got in and out of this share yesterday/today, thinking there may be a small bounce this morning. Made a small loss. I should have noticed ADM is being shorted. Maybe the broker rating targets are accurate... Will look again around 2900. Shame. I did ok on ADM in the run up. It seems a great business with nice yields.
I will continue to keep an eye on it though. Maybe I'm just a little early today on that bounce. I'm also thinking it may be after close of play tomorrow for Quarter End

It's also the end of the quarter this week. Bank traders will be netting some profits

France is almost fully nuclear with Germany mainly coal currently. If people want electric cars, there's simply not enough land mass for wind or solar, and at sea, the salt/rust factor makes solar and wind uneconomical. (there's a professors very good Ted Talk video on YouTube showing the maths on this)

When Margaret Thatcher in the 80's faced an energy crisis due to coal miners strikes pushed by Labours Unions, she wanted to create new nuclear plants so the UK couldn't be held to ransom by the unions. She latched on to a newly published report which said CO2 MAY have an impact on the climate, and thus the Eco Movement was created, generating thousands of jobs globally and enabling her push for new nuclear stations to be created.

With the UK now reliant on France for much of it's power, and the current energy crisis. This would be a perfect time for the government to announce Rolls Royce to be building their new Small Nuclear Reactors in the UK.

Then we'll really see the price soar!!!

Nice to se more trading volumes during the day over the last two days, rather than whale trades done after-hours.
I think an indicator for an up trend.
Hopefully anyway.
I've got 13.6% of my portfolio invested in CMCX and am sitting at a 5.4% loss.
But I'm confident this share will recover, especially with latest volatility over Evergrande and energy shortages
