yeah, just looking at the UK100 index, there had been a run up to 11:03, then a quick drop in 2 minutes.
We're now pretty much on a UK100 index bounce line so hopefully there will be a general rise next week in the UK markets

Buys coming back in now. This is strange. I'm remaining positive though.

The Ask is 96 and Bid is 95.98. I've never seen a spread this tight before.

I've gone all in again. Been in and out a bit over the last few days. Now I've got 14.4% / £34k of my portfolio in and sitting on a 0.31% loss (about £100).
Gold has been sharply dipping and rising on a 30 day or so rotation recently, so I'm hoping we are now on an upwards trend and we'll see at least some short term growth.
Silver has also hit a bounce line now.
Poly has now had 6 red weeks in a row which last happened in 2017. I agree on the potential bounce line of 1120 also, so I think I'll put on a stop loss and new buy order for around then I think.

I've never seen a minute chart so flat. What's happening. Volumes increased a lot but the line is perfectly flat for the last 17 minutes... No bars at all. Is this just me seeing this on TradingView

Hmm, sorry it sounds like you're not having a good time on your trades at the moment.
I'm not either at the moment to be honest, the markets are very volatile at the moment.
But if you look at the UK FTSE All-share index, you'll see that at the current level of 4018 or so, down 1% today, and with growth from the covid dip in March 2020 to a level around 2800, and a high since of 4144, and a 5 year high of around 4258, there comes a point you have to look at yourself and check are you investing in the right shares at the right times.
I'm not having a dig. I'm thought about this myself and am in a similar boat. Recognising this may help you evaluate your strategies for improvement.

Today all the miners and bankers seem to be doing well.
Rolls Royce, Cineworld, IAG, recovery/more risky trades doing poorly.

this is really holding up nicely so far today. Previously I've watched it go up, swing down, then up again in the afternoon, but no drop off yet like we saw over the last 3 days. I need another 3.5% growth to break even, but will hold for at least 12% I think before taking some profit

I'm now sitting with 4% of my portfolio with CEY and currently up 2%, so it could easily swing, but I'm hoping for some new improved broker interest and improved ratings following today's investor presentation.
Regardless of the numbers presented, they both seemed quite relaxed and confident in the business position and prospects which was good enough for me to continue to hold, and not be concerned any more about the crappy Liberium rating any more. Roll on the 138 target from Berenberg

I've seen it all before. Watch the whales take their profits and see the shares nose-dive. I got out and am now looking for a new entry point.

The hardest thing for most people is knowing when to take profits, wishfully hoping for the next jump, before they go into loss.
If you have a good pot of cash set aside, you may be able to ride the run down, or, de-risk, be patient, and go back in at a lower price.
But it's clearly not that simple

I think this is more a downward movement on recovery businesses after recently over-played excitement on recovery. These companies generally still have significant balance sheet issues so now reality is setting in again

I expect the bigger issue is the shorting going on now and the fundamentals of the company. Sorry, I paper handed and expect it to fall, whereas I think RR has more continuing momentum and the confidence of the UK US AUS govts to be a good, viable business considering their investment of the subs. I'll watch CINE like a hawk but I think the major investors are going to push this one down for a couple of weeks now... Clearly I could be wrong. DYOR
(And don't hate on me being for being negative here today. If you think this tiny message board has any impact on influencing the share price you are deluded)
