You have to laugh when people somehow think the EU isn't another corrupt body contributing to the globalisation of the planet and feathering the nest for themselves. Favouring and setting up legislation that favours the giant multinationals and making it difficult for smaller companies. I'm not saying that doesn't happen in the UK, it just happens on a larger scale when you have a larger body of people controlling a bigger area. Brexit will take much longer than it should due to our own MPs falling out like children on the one issue where they need to remain together and stand strong, but did you expect anything else? That and the fact the EU want to make it as difficult as possible for us so other countries aren't persuaded to follow suit. Anyway good luck to all you Beowulfateers ! May your patience be finally rewarded.
Seems someone is soaking up all these sells ! Let's hope the resilience of Hummingbird over the past few days after what happened earlier in the week continues and encourages more confidence in the market place and longer term prospects for this share. Good luck to all of you who hold.
Thanks for the update FS much appreciated.
Thought this might have dipped a bit more this morning and thought I might get a few more cheap ones. People were saying yesterday evening this could be a big problem and could escalate. But I guess it could also work the other way and dissuade people from participating in further action. Also no-one who works for HUM was involved, security or otherwise, so any actions taken regarding the sad loss of life will lay with the state and not the company.
The market potential for this technology in the medical profession is huge and far reaching. Very positive and encouraging RNS today. Onwards and upwards. Good luck to you all.
A re-trace to around 19.5 wouldn't be unusual to be honest, anything below that may be a little concerning. Lucky to sell half yesterday at the death because over the years I've learnt to take profit when it's there. Still think this is the right company at the right time though, providing the technology is sound. Just need a take up in Europe or the States. Good luck to all you Symphonists.
Moving quickly today 'Surprised' let's hope the big boys are sniffing around.
Lol...the spreads tightened considerably while I was typing that....upwards and onwards and good luck to all of you that are invested here.
Yeah followed United for 45 years but gave my season ticket up back in 2007 as I didn't like the way football was going and the way it was treating fans, painful decision to make because five of us use to go and it was a big part of our lives. Wouldn't mind making a million lol, wouldn't we all, but I don't do private regs but thanks for the tip. Apologies for the off topic guys, as for SYM we could do with some good coverage in the broad sheets and one of the major retailers to decide having bio-degradable plastic bags would be good for their image. A little push from the government wouldn't go a miss either. Any of these will increase interest in SYM further, tighten the spread up and help us continue on our way north.
Interesting post annalyzer, pretty much what I was looking at. Bought in last week because I certainly thought there was short term potential here with all the interesting in the plastics problem at the moment. Like the fact they turned a loss into a profit for the second year on the bounce. Like the fact that the shares in circulation haven't changed much. Like the fact they're getting more media coverage these past 12 months. The only thing that stands out as a possible negative is turnover which hasn't changed much over the last few years. 2014/15 and 16 were all in the mid 6 millions. Would need to see that change for 2017/18 and 2018/19 to see that the the companies technologies are creating more interest and that the company is growing, which would suggest further growth.
Even with the impressive results this is moving quickly, I wonder if one of the major competitors is looking to take an early position !
Yes yet another solid set of results Matt. Been in here for seven years now and at 25 PE I have finally sold 50 % of my stake today. Will still be invested though because long term I still think there is plenty of growth especially if they move into Asia. They also have solid reserves in the bank too which will enable them to add to their market area. Can't thank the team enough for what they've done for me and the rest of the shareholders. To all who hold I wish you the best for the coming years.
Sorry guys that should have read 'bottom of the curve'....although the word my spell check chose was rather relevant considering the shares performance of the past few years !
They announced a duster today ! A decision has been made to plug the Shisr-1 well in Block 49 in Oman. So a drop of just 3% is pretty impressive. If this holds over 10p over the next week or so it probably shows without any further bad news it's hit the bottom of the curse and may well be worth a punt, considering this is a profit making organisation, unlike like many other junior oilers.
Thanks for the post regarding the interview with Gavin Lavelle. The figures are certainley moving in the right direction and Brady are spreading their business more and more Worldwide. Lavelle always comes over as a calm , level headed guy who doesn't over blow the achievements of the company. Very happy to still be invested in Brady, because I'm sure they have a bright future.
Yeah spot on there. Blackrock made this decision some time ago and have been gently selling off. The Rns's since they made that decision have been very positive so they may well regret that decision. But like all the bigger investing institutions they've made the decision and I'm sure they'll probably carry it through now. If anyhting you could look at it from the bright side , that dispite them reeducing their holding the share price has still been climbing. There selling could be well keeping the handbrake on and when they've finished we may well get a significant movee North ! GL to all who hold here .
Nice to see the new contracts flowing in, especially a new deal in the banking sector which can only raise Brady's profile. Hopefully a push back towards the pound mark should be seen this year !
At last a return to £1.00…..will it hold ??
Lol....keep 'em safe think this might just be heading back northwards at last...here's hoping anyway !
My post must have triggered it into action....please folks no thanks necessary !....Lol
