Trump has already stated that rare earth minerals will be a problem regarding supply if deals aren't struck and he's also expressed the need to acquire going concerns. So he'd be pretty foolish to make it difficult for US companies to acquire rare earth metals.

Plus as SG has pointed out Trump will not be in power forever.

Interesting stuff and very encouraging Baltic. Results are due soon and these difficult times the world finds itself in and the uncertainly its brought is probably the reason why the hand break has been on regarding the share price. Anything resembling positivity in the results report should see OMG starting to move north again.

Probably the best bit of advice you could give anyone about investing Bladey and certainly something that I've learnt over the years and has served me well. Don't get too greedy and always take a little off the table when you're winning.

The positive RNS released this morning by MKA, another REE play may well have focused a little interest in this area. Both companies plus PRE, which is also up today, got news coverage within the past few weeks.

Might be because the demand is high. Just offered me some for 20.25.

London Stock Exchange showing 18.50....my broker 18.00. Late buys on here registering at 18.45 so I'd have thought a malfunction on Google.

Yeah the Chinese saw what was coming over 35 years ago and put a plan in place in order to secure and control the rare earth metal supply and the markets involved. They currently control the supply of 90% of all current rare metals available. I tried buying shares in this area years back but couldn't get in. The Americans are pinning their hopes on Round Top Mountain somewhere out near El Paso which they say could yield enough REM to practically make them self sufficient , but like you say this will take time and again a privately owned venture.
If people want to invest in this area it's certainly limited which makes RBW, despite it's location a very tempting and interesting option to get invested in this market, where I can only see the demand growing.

Happy for another 5% today, gently does it. Hopefully they'll get a tie up sorted with one of the majors. Mind you those things take time and many discussions before things get signed.
