BP, a genuine question from a non-expert: is it possible - once all hedging and contractual obligations are fulfilled - to run an onshore field on something like a six months on, six months off, basis or similar? This would avoid depleting a precious resource for summer peanuts prices in order to fully exploit winter prices?

Today's RNS implies that tomorrow's National Grid volume figure should be at least 0.17. Any higher will be a nice bonus.

Pretty much the RNS we'd been hoping for. And written in plain English as well.

Just a thought: it may be that Angus are expecting the noon National Grid update volume figures to show a big increase, and are planning to issue their RNS thereafter. Of course it's equally possible that the grid figure shows no change...
