I don't think there's anything in these "codes" myself, but plenty of people do believe they are MM signals.
a 1 trade is believed to be a signal that RNS is pending.
I can't remember what all the others are supposed to be, think there was stuff like 10 = I need stock but don't take the price down, -10 I need stock, lower the price.... or something like that.
LIke I say, it all depends why the price has dropped. Providing the fundamentals are still the same and there is no driving force behind a small drop in price. if you are still confident in your decision to invest in the first place, you can make a calculated decision to invest more and bring your average down a little.
I'd say it depends on the underlying reason for the drop in price. If it's just day to day fluctuations then no, it's not a losing trade. If the price is drifting down for a reason then yes, it's a losing trade and averaging down could be a risky move.
Bit doom n gloom here today. Ok so we dropped a fair bit this morning but now just under 1% down. Still not exactly great, but we've seen this happen so many times with VAL. Big drop early on, seemingly for no reason, then for no reason it returns. Then we get some large delayed trades showing up later on. Nowt to worry about IMO.
