Cpap, Quite possibly, there were constant sellers this last year since the JORC got delayed. But its now on the very near horizon and nowhere near in this price. PREM got a scoping study after their JORC of 16Mt and it suggested $850m+ for lith carbonate production. SAV have a scoping study out on their 14mt and its got an NPV currently of $356m for lith concentrate production before additional reserve upgrades. Now that they've 35,000m drilled here (SAV currently 16,000m). How big do you think the JORC is gonna be? Eyebrow raising is my guess. Gonna see good volume that morning. When these were last 0.6p they didn't have Chinese backing nor funding, nor significant lith discoveries. Now fully cashed up for the 2019 season and JORC imminent. Kavango Resources plc, a mining group targeting the discovery of world class mineral deposits in Botswana, is pleased to announce the admission of its entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital (the "Ordinary Shares") to the Standard List segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the Main Market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission") at 08:00am on 31 July 2018 under the TIDM (Stock Code): KAV.

Highlights

Admission of the Ordinary Shares to the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Placing of 60,000,000 new Ordinary Shares at 2.5 pence per share to raise £1,500,000 (before expenses) and an initial market capitalisation of £3.35m (the “Placing”) at the Placing price.
Each Placing share has a warrant attached exercisable at 12 pence any time within the 24 month period following Admission which if exercised gives the warrant holder the right to an additional half warrant exercisable at 24 pence within 48 months of Admission.
Kavango Resources is a holding company with Kavango Minerals (Pty) Ltd) (“Kavango Minerals”) its 100% owned subsidiary in Botswana.

The Competent Person’s Report obtained by the Company and contained within the Prospectus is of the opinion that the Projects have sound technical merits to be considered prospective, subject to varying degrees of exploration risk, and warrant the exploration programmes proposed by Kavango to assess their economic potential.
Proceeds of the Placing will be used primarily to conduct helicopter-borne electromagnetic surveys over one or more of the areas licenced to Kavango and to conduct drilling of identified targets.

From Fishyneck on advfn Not much I can add to rmarts summary. John Potters appointment looks to be crucial to me. His background in project management is exactly what we need from a CEO right now. He comes across as someone you want want to work with and work for and in a very short time has amassed a very impressive knowledge of RF technology, the geology of our leases and the route to commercialisation. There is absolute focus now on the prize, and it is massive! They are always keeping an eye out for other leases which "you can pick up for bucks" so its possible something might happen whilst they are over there but again not as a distraction from the field test. Amongst others they have 2 meetings lined up with the Governor of Utah, a meeting with Redleaf and John wants to meet with environmentalists to "put an arm around them" and show them our plans. The RL meeting could be interesting, I wouldn't rule out a reversal of the working relationship in the future! As rmart said above we did our best to get production figures out of them but as TOM don't own that data they couldn't tell us, i'm sure Andrew and John know. I'm also sure the 126m barrels will be upgraded based on RF use. Maybe considerably! There was a good chat about the history of Tomco and the mistakes made by previous Directors having a negative affect going forward. It was suggested maybe a name change would help. (We are no longer an oil mining company after all). I'm sure the directors would be interested in any feedback from shareholders on that issues. It was agreed TOM would RNS significant stages over the next few months. ie permits, major purchases of equipment, further patents, drilling commencing...etc. It's going to be exciting!

I will be adding as funds allow, sadly I am not on top of lots of free cash but can have a few each week, took a few this morn and will continue to do so as I think this sp will soon be way in the past and we will move much higher. Lastly. It was mentioned that there are many other uses for the RF Process. Not just oil shale. Rightly we are focusing on this at present because we have the lease and can crack on with it but there are many other areas we can look at later on. DYOR of course.

From poster rmart on advfn Well here goes with a few thoughts off the top of my head. 1. Can the field test be halted by any protest from Living Rivers etc - NO, the permit we have means we can just go ahead. Further on this it is thought that we may actually get backing from some of these groups. The alternatives for production of oil shale are large scale ground distruption (mining) by either Red Leaf or Enfit. Or RF Tech which is basically drilling, pumping oil out and filling in the drill holes again when complete (no ground disruption, or diruption to plantlife/wildlife). 2. Will the field test produce oil - Yes 100%, we are simply doing the same as was done in the 80's but with better, more modern equipment and 30 years more study by Ray Kasevich. We did ask about production figures and basically the company cannot publish these until they have done their own field test. The figures from the Bart test are not owned by Tomco. I am sure the directors and especially Ray Kasevich know the numbers but legally cannot use them. It is just good to know that we are going ahead with a field test and are very confident of its success. Once the field test is done we will have all the numbers we need (this will be very exciting). Regarding the field test, Fishyneck did ask Why August? and why 4 to 6 months?. This was explained that it is due to equipment leadtimes but also the 4 to 6 months was not from August, but from the date the field test was announced. So personally I think it will be completed by August. Not sure what fishy thinks about that? 3. Newsflow. There will be lots going on between now and the field test. Equipment purchasing, drilling, meetings etc etc. We did talk about shareholder communication and it was one of the main points that the board did take on board. I am sure it is going to be much better from now on. 4. The difference between the old Tomco and the new. For many years Tomco were just sitting and waiting on the tail on Red Leaf. We were doing nothing and had nothing but a licence. Tomco now have what I think is the BEST method to produce from the oil shale (in an acceptable manner) that currently exists. 5. The leases. The jorc figures were based on the ecoshale mining process. The other leases other than holiday block were not suitable for ecoshale but are for RF. I think we could see a highly positive revision of these numbers after the field test. We have a board of directors that are determined to make a success of this and to move to production. Instead of twiddling thumbs we have our own lease, our own tech and a clear path to production. It is very very different now. John and Andrew are now on the way to Utah to visit the site and make plans. They will also be having meetings with various people. Overall I was very pleased I took the day out to go. The formal AGM itself took minutes but the chat afterwards went on for a long while and it was great that everyone got involved and i

Feasibility Study: Kodal is working on the key elements for a Feasibility Study, eg drilling, bulk sampling and metallurgical testing. The data should enable the development of a suitable study for more accurate economic assessment of the project for further financing and potential future development. Location: Bougoumi is unusually well located for a project in Mali with the town of Bougouni just 7km to the north which is just 180km from Bamako. Power: there is a power line running through the license area though the project is likely to require its own power plant. Advances in solar power mean that much of this could be generated simply and locally with grant funding available to help projects get going. Conclusion: The relative purity of Kodal’s Bougouni project ores combined with low associated mica levels should make concentrates from the Bougouni project relatively simple to produce and easy to sell. So far Suay Chin PTE based in in Singapore has contributed £4.8m to Kodal. The group is affiliated with the Shandong Ruifu Lithium Company, a lithium processing and chemical business based in China. We see this as a beneficial, strong and meaningful partnership for Kodal and its shareholders. *SP Angel act as Financial Advisor and broker to Kodal Minerals. Kodal Minerals* (KOD LN) 0.18p, mkt cap £12m – Drill results confirm continuity, high-grade and potential of Bougouni lithium project Click link for Flash Note Kodal Minerals continues to report good quality drill results from the Ngoualana prospect at its Bougouni Lithium project in Southern Mali. The drilling indicates that the scale, grade and continuity of the project now make Bougouni look like a potentially viable prospect. Work done nearby by Birimian Limited gives some indication as to the economic potential of the region for lithium production. Significantly, results from metallurgical work indicate that Kodal’s Bougouni project may produce cheaper and more viable Lithium Carbonate concentrate product directly in country. High-purity spodumene: Kodal’s ‘naturally’ high purity spodumene formed in massive pegmatite intrusions hosted in metasediments which may be bulk mined to enable extraction of the whole pegmatite with particularly high grades seen where pegmatite dykes intersect. The pegmatite veins are spodumene rich at 20-30% spodumene content in low mica pegmatite bodies. So far drilling shows a strike length of some 850m of remarkably consistent spodumene in pegmatite with a number of associated parallel veins. Drilling is done at around 50 degrees to the vertical to give good intersections of the vertical or near vertical vein material. Intersections show the major vein to have a true width of around 20m. Drill spacing’s are around 50m apart with infill drilling closing this up to 20m in some areas. Consistency of the vein material may enable a JORC resource to be done on the current drill pattern. A newly discovered vein some 250m to the south also appears to provide a further zone of material. Drill results: today’s results show high grade lithium of up to 1.75% in Li2O. The team have drilled some 45 RC drill holes covering 5,619m since October with assays returned for some 26 of the holes by ALS Laboratories. Results have been calculated with a rigorous 1% Li2O lower cut-off and maximum 2m internal dilution and only reporting intersections of >5m width. Notable results are: 18m at 1.75% Li2O; 20m at 1.71% Li2O; 17m at 1.63% Li2O; 18m at 1.54% Li2O; Bulk sample: Kodal is looking to ship a 5,000t bulk sample to China for further testing. The cost of the sample will be around £350,000 though a portion of this will be recouped through the sale of the contained lithium after processing. Concentrate: Battery grade lithium carbonate concentrate of >6% Li2O should be producible at Bougouni. Recent prices are reported by Kodal to be running at around US$600/t Cash: Kodal is relatively well funded for an exploration company with £3.6m cash in the bank and relatively low overhead costs running at around £360,000p

United Oil & Gas Plc - Update Hello Everyone, Please find attached two announcements that we made this morning: Oversubscribed placing This morning, we announced a top-up placing of £1.25 million at a price of 4p. This was completed at virtually no discount to our current share price and is a great result. Since we listed the company on the 31st July, we have doubled the share price, drilled a successful well in Italy and added the high impact Jamaica licence to our portfolio. It is important to finance when we can and not we have to, so it made sense to do a small top-up placing now on the back of this year’s success. This placing of £1.25mil will strengthen the cash position on our balance sheet before year-end and ensure that the company is well financed moving into 2018. The funds raised will be used to advance further farm-in and acquisition opportunities along with contributing to our currently projected work programs. It was also very pleasing to see the strong demand for our stock, which is a reflection of the company’s performance over the last two years. In addition, we were very well received in the city of London, and the placing was completed in less than a day. Italian Well Update This morning we also provided an update on our Italian well, Podere Maiar 1. We are very pleased to be able to announce that the well encountered 41 metres of net pay, with excellent reservoir quality, and encouraging reservoir pressures. This is a fantastic result and we now look forward to the rigless well-testing scheduled for January which will determine production flow rates. The rig has now completed and is currently demobilising to go off site. An update on the well testing results will be made when they become available. Whilst we’ve had a great year, we are not resting on our laurels and we will continue to look for further opportunities to create value for our shareholders by adding to our existing portfolio.
