Well spotted...but much more interested in the Amundsen Spirit, currently been in Aberdeen since 1st July. (Need somebody to get down there and find out when she is heading out?...And don't we have a resident on here?) SP quite frankly has taken a disproportionate battering. Ok! So the news was not what we wanted. Interestingly, expected in Scrabster though! Nuff said! We still have a world class asset..producing oil and making money. And still another two drills to go. Recent SP drops from recent 63p would suggest that a negative result was already being factored in..which I agree with. Current SP of around 43p in quite frankly insane imo. Doing the simple sums would have suggested no more than a 5p pull back. So, I'm holding on and just added another 10k @ 43.4903p. Can't see the SP staying this low for too long. Atb Rich

Positive milestones passed...blah, blah, blah! Whatever! But this is absolutely mental how the SP has fallen recently and must be a 'wish for' to get in at this price. Personally down a lot more than I'm happy with from recent highs. Got to be a turnaround coming imo. Hanging in there! Atb Rich

Lancaster EPS First Lifting and Oil Sales

Hurricane Energy plc, the UK based oil and gas company focused on hydrocarbon resources in naturally fractured basement reservoirs, is pleased to provide an operational update in relation to the Early Production System development of the Lancaster field ("Lancaster EPS").

On 18 June 2019, Hurricane sold its first cargo which was lifted from the Aoka Mizu FPSO by the Amundsen Spirit shuttle tanker. The cargo was marketed by BP Oil International Limited, pursuant to the offtake agreement.

Dr Robert Trice, Chief Executive of Hurricane, commented:

"First lifting from the Lancaster EPS marks the generation of Hurricane's first revenue. We are now building the cash flow necessary to invest in the further appraisal and development of Hurricane's basement assets."

Grabbed another 10k @ 53.0995p on the bell. Crazy how the S.P. has weakened over the last few trading sessions. News must now be imminent and we should be back to the mid 60's with a bit of luck. Any newbies getting in at around these levels must think it's Xmas! Atb Rich

Quite incredible that we have retraced 15% since yesterdays open on such groundbreaking news. Isn't that what the market has been waiting for? Crazy imo and anyone getting in now at this level is very lucky. I'm personally down about £50k from yesterday's highs..but hey I'm still ahead of my average price so what's the problem. Sob! Seems recently that any good news meets with a downtrend. That has to turn around very soon. Good luck all! Rich
