That's it - no news before September is possible because the climate activists must have their debate first about LNG facilities in Cork. Why doesn't the government say: fine, we will avoid fracked gas from America and elsewhere, use our own cleaner, local gas as a transition fuel and have greater energy security at the same time. How on earth can activists oppose that? This government simply has no more balls than the last one - else we would have heard them making the case for indigenous gas by now. Letting a vocal minority with ideological but totally unrealistic views determine policy is just madness.
