Could the government not nationalise LOGP and pay shareholders enough compensation to stop litigation? Where would LG stand if that happened? He and the government could then have a profit-sharing green energy scheme?

I do not understand why the RTO has taken so long. It almost seems to me that LOGP has kept the RTO as a threat hanging over the heads of both LG and the government. I think there are smoke screens here. Let’s hope SB has played a blinder!!

It is intriguing that PRD recently mentioned compensation from the Irish government if the SA for Corrib South is not granted. No talk of possible litigation there. There could be smoke screens all over the place. If the government wants to stop LG gaining total control of Barryroe, what is their best course of action? Could it be that both the government and LG are engaged in a battle for LOGP behind the scenes? The government wants to stop a RTO involving LG?

Just buying LOGP might not give LG the right to sue for all of Barryroe? All questions to be answered very soon,

It clearly is an error. Private individuals can trade among themselves with suitable safeguards of course but no one is going to pay 10P per share, certainly not that old miser LG!
