If things are that hard right now rather than inward investment maybe go out there and buy a competitor-got to be a sizeable company-shut the crappy bits-sell off-keep the good bits in good towns and bobs your uncle-lots of NH outside of London that developers know the brand .

Connells group must want to offload some branches after the disastrous Countrywide acquisition they are a business that cant run a ship of the size anymore-just a thought

Difficult to make much of a comment on this, without more detail is this comparing like with like in all income streams or do acquisitions inflate these numbers? I’m not sure.

Where’s the news about expanding more outside of London? This was a very good strategic idea with a strong brand but apart from one or two offices nothing has happened and that is extremely poor.
