RE: Southwestener - Thank you.17 Mar 2021 20:49
Evening Southwesterner.
Regarding your first post , the other was very helpful too, Piedmont I hold both on ASX Β£18,000 and since listing on the US market a big chunk Β£50,000 just in the US. Got a great price on ASX based on my original tip from the Australian mine owner in 2017 for Cinovec.
Always knew North Carolina Tin Spdumene Belt TSB is nailed on. Just so happens, the environmental push to create new industries has started and Biden decided that the US needs its own sources as China controls Lithium, Copper, Zinc, Graphite/ cannot yet really make large amounts of high grade graphene but they are trying to steal the IP of VRS and other Manchester based companies. As for Cinovec. The Ozzie guy went to the mine and had the tour 2018. Any and all strip out for prep in construction is straight away pay dirt. The initial tunnels down to the underground crusher will be widened by around 4 feet, all Zinnwaldite. They are starting with the obvious where the real money is but they have only currently PFS'd 9% only of the mine ??? Thus I know most of the other drill results as provided by the company , helped by the German compsny Solarworld back in 2012 who actually tested over the border, whoops and in to Czech from German side.
The lens slopes down pretty much from the Czech border in to Germany so Czech easily has the best side by far.
At Cinovec they have very little in the way of the major geological turmoil evident in Cornwall. Cinivec is so so much easier to read and map out, as I did.
I even mapped out Block 2 that they have not even looked at yet , based on previous Russian drilling data. They have yet more tonnage of similar type. In effect they have 3 lenses in Czech, but the motherload is Main Cinovec the one they are working.
A major company has been on the table since PFS first results. Just Russian v EU politics got in the way and still may yet, but the deposit is as sound as Piedmont.
You are correct, spodumene any day of the week, but I know the mica is easy to get to Li2OH grade level. It was achieved back in 2017/18. Tech has moved on a little so it could even come in cheaper. PLUS they have 1 shift currently. ( 3 on the cards and 150,000 tpa all being well and a fair wind is possible if asked and given permission ).
Piedmont 100% , Cinovec cannot provide all the lithium the EU wants and needs, I know this too. Fact. Heard a few details from talks and the amounts are huge.
Take Piedmont, I would not be surprised if Tesla buy the whole operation PLUS they get 3 Canadian spodumene mines thrown in AND royalties from Sayona or keep the whole lot. We are looking at around 350-400,000 tpa of LCE so approx 50-70,000tpa Li2OH A year !
Tesla also building a lithium hydroxide plant at its own car production plant in Austin Texas. Now what does that say ?
Also check out - land bought in Raleigh NC. Tesla have bought land just up the road from Piedmont and at Christmas 2020 advertised for a battery factory manager !
