Sorry gentlemen I'm going to butt in here. I personally have found many of the regular posters on here so helpful. I don't understand grades or results so I go to chat boards to gauge the sentiment. It is here that, years ago, I read intellectual conversations from, clearly experienced people in the know, discussing the RNS issued. Yes, that's what made me buy in initially. It was serious debate about the RNS that I trusted. Such as just now Chri5p has said more sense about XTR than anyone on the XTR board I have read (must admit i haven't caught all the chat, there's too much). I already had mixed feelings about that one. Thanks CHRI5P I'm now thinking more my gut was telling me right again :-). As an outsider, I pay attention to the intelligent analysis and not the opinions or feelings, or "I emailed them and they came back with this.." I want facts and I need to trust. Without a doubt this forum is the most informative one I have ever read. I just have to cut through the the fighting (and dare I say *****ing!!!). I trade volatile stocks, I invest in those with long term potential, slow and steady. I trade the volatile. I am still learning, but I make a conscience decision to trade or invest a stock.
I invest in few, I trade probably 10 a week (now I do this full time). I have never doubted (been here more than 2 years now) my decision to invest here and I am grateful to posters here who have shared their expert knowledge. I think I'm smart enough to sort the wheat from the chaff, and anyone who gets "sucked into" these boards and looses money, really should be giving their money to a registered financial advisor to handle.
Maybe LR isn't the best PR guy in the world, but if that's what's important to us there's plenty of ad agency's on the stock market. It will all come good in the end.

Exposure to each grappa? I split my funds between investment and trading. 70% of my money is in investments (spilt between 4 now but may add RR. to that soon if it goes down a bit more). I never trade more than £10k on 1 stock, which is what I have in XTR, but only £3k in TIR. Thinking of selling out £5k on XTR soon, it's not feeling right, but not too wrong either. I'm in the blue at the moment but only by £300. If it goes well I'll be out at 30% profit 6.46p each to me. We'll see but I'm losing faith

Sorry, I suppose I was. I didn't mean to, just wanted to share my thoughts with Grappa that I didn't think it was worth the risk. We pretty much know where EUZ will be (either down a bit or up a lot), but I'm not sure about XTR yet. CB doing some strange things at the moment with the RNS's, further more there are some absolutely huge background sells. TIR keeps getting re rated on virtually tiny sells. He's joined forces with the Greatland Gold guy and since then the SP has moved a lot. I'm suspecting TIR are going to make an announcement soon on a new investment. Logic says it will be XTR, at which point I'm sure it will boom. But I'm not convinced yet. Does anyone know any background to the CB/LR "parting". Are they still friends (so to speak).

Yes I'm trading XTR but not selling out EUZ for it. (I need some stability in my life) Also in TIR (something going on there). I most certainly will be putting at least 10% of my profits from those into EUZ. I wouldn't like to be out of this now. Trying to figure out when XTR will spike again it's very volatile. It's as much a training project as a trading stock for me. Not sure where the support is yet

3 attempts to get a price to buy and I can't get a quote

Its not that bad actually, I've just gone for a quote to sell 500k and they quoted me 0.62p each. Didn't sell, there's something brewing here and looking at one of CB's other companies at the top of the leader board, I'm sitting this one out for some time to come :-)

I checked here in the New Year and reading the posts made me think of a David Attenborough documentary on elephant seals in mating season. So glad to see the mood has changed with no blood spilled. Any footage of the sprint Grappa? I hope you don't live in my neck of the woods, 6 inches of snow today. You'd have needed a fur lined flag. Long may this continue (the tone and the share price) :-)

It was around 2 years ago when I bought my first shares in EUZ. An RNS had been realised giving results. They meant nothing to me so I thought I'd look in on the forum. Here I found a bunch of guys all giving the analysis in a very intelligent way. You were all clearly enthused with the results so I decided this was worth buying into. Ever since then I've checked in frequently and rather enjoyed reading all your posts.
I have noticed that when the share price goes up, you're all rather friendly. When it goes down you all fight, but the best is when it doesn't move at all, for days, it brings out the humour in you. I still recall Sheds 2 line quote from "twas the night before Christmas", and Bobby, you made me cry with your Porsche/electric scooter post.
You all make this forum what it is, and I appreciate all of your comments.
I wish all well, present and absent posters. I hope you all enjoy seeing out the end of this incredibly horrible year and that you all have a safe, happy and prosperous 2021.

As I have said before, I did take a training course before starting this, as I'm sure many others have and so many will do the same as I do.
How to find a stock to watch. Step 1 basic research. Quick look at current price, charts, hi/low then into the forum to gauge sentiment. If any of those look negative within 5 minutes I move on to look for another one. Maybe come back later, but out of the all the stocks you don't want to waste too much time in the beginning. If people are genuinely invested then I can't understand why they talk so constantly negatively about it. I have heard it said before on here and I agree it is true - these do put off new potential traders/investors. They stop them taking out more time to do further research to see what great potential is here. I've made bad investments. They were my choice, I screwed up so I've sold at a loss and moved on and gotten over it. Difference of opinion and debate is one thing but I do feel that sometimes some people do go a bit too far. There's more than 2500 companies listed on the LSE alone. Plenty to go at for everyone :-)

Thanks Shed. Investing / trading is a hobby I've decided to turn into an income and I love learning. All my professional life I've studied human behaviour and how to turn that into a sales advantage (marketing). Without becoming emotionally attached to a stock I learn what I feel I need to then decide invest/trade/leave alone. I'm well aware of "boiler rooms" and can decipher quality information from the trash. The thing that I like about EUZ is I do believe it is a quality stock, in the end, (thanks to you guys sharing your knowledge on results, which are just numbers and letters to me), but, just as importantly, Lawrence Reid may be a rather "boring" person, he's a straight guy, dedicated to his work. Many stocks are great assets but the BOD are untrustworthy. So this is one of only 3 investments I have, and I have no reason to doubt the long term future. Now Colin Bird is interesting (unlike LR). In fact he seems quite the opposite and I trade his stocks regularly. I'm not sure the true reasons for the "split" and if they are still "acquainted". Again, something I'm following and nothing would surprise me. I noted CB's announcement last week about bringing Alex Borelli on board with Tiger Res, AB of course with GGP, & TIR been an investment company..... makes it all much more interesting than Eastenders. From the chat board of TIR it seems CB and AB have got together before and bust an asset (or so it seems. I take it all with a pinch of salt but I also take heed). I have noticed that all industries are incestuous (I thought it was just Direct Marketing), so much as I don't expect fireworks from EUZ this week, I don't write off any surprises.
As for the FOMO - I read enough chat boards and you'll get these posters that post about how they multi bagged. I read so many posts that say "I had 20 million shares when it was 0.02p" now it's 20p. In another post they make it clear they have a full time job. And so many others believe it and want to be that man :-). I know that since furlough started thousands of people have tried their hands at trading with the dream of making it big. It seems irrelevant to EUZ and what they do, but it isn't. The daily share price fluctuation is based on supply and demand. Yes I agree with comments above about PR and marketing. It's all very interesting indeed. I'm here because I trust the stock and the BOD and I'd like to see this through. How it happens, how long it takes, as well as how much money this will make me as opposed to trading that cash. Definitely going now. Have fun, take care, be safe and be happy.

I'm not at all concerned about todays drop. Even the unseasoned traders/investors, could pretty much forecast that the market was going to suffer a large fall today. A perfect opportunity for traders. Heavy falls by 8.15 (RR. at 95.00) that will predictably rise by afternoon, better than I expected I admit. Most of us had some ready cash prepared, but some won't have. EUZ is pretty "stagnant" at the moment, so if you see an opportunity to make a quick buck, sell out here, make your money, then buy back in tomorrow/next week/next month. I guess it's just like a loan. They'll be back.
And no I wasn't one of them. I've been holding onto cash just in case of the no deal Brexit news. I wouldn't be too despondent if this happens a bit now until the Brexit/virus has settled down. They will want to buy back in cheap though once the market settles, as we all know, this share does occasionally spike without notice. FOMO will set in.

Has anyone noticed that this dropped at 2pm. 18 minutes after Tiger Res announced this new investor guy? How strange, there was no selling activity to justify the sudden drop. I checked in here as I thought CB having this guy on board may have also had an impact on BZT. Must admit my ignorance in not knowing who he is but it's going down very well there

I do see him as a decent guy. Probably too decent to be running an AIM company, would do well as a CEO of a FTSE 350, although I believe he's more of a geologist (?) than an accountant. My only reservation came after issuing more shares when we were not really expecting it. I'll forgive him for that once though and I still have faith in stock.

Yes well, unfortunately LR pretty much said it's going to be a year or 2, that, in my opinion, was his biggest PR mistake really. You look at other stocks that keep "teasing" (I suppose the word is). They spike lots, for days, then drop again and the SH's slate them for weeks, until the price starts to bubble up again (BZT comes to mind here ). I trade BZT, I've made money from it, but at the end of the day I think I'll make a higher % from EUZ and the important thing to me, is it's low maintenance. I don't check in here to see how my stocks doing - just to make sure you guys are all playing nicely :0). This really is my favourite stock. EUZ and PEN are my "safe" investments but the chat board on PEN is sooooo boring

Great letter, I'm sure the xxx at the end will catch his attention :-). I am actually invested here, although I am a trader too I know. I'm not young or ambitious enough to be needing to earn $1m a year so I trade on a minority percentage of my funds (most of that pension). I like EUZ as it feels "safe" so i have a modest part of my SIPP in here. I first bought in at 0.03p, topped up at 0.01, top sliced on a spike and added again at 13p recently. I don't plan to draw my pension for some years yet, so it's ok with me. But this stock is also not prone to shocks (Brexit, Covid etc), which is why this is one of my preferred pension stocks. i do believe in this and it may not be making much for me now, but i believe in the end I'll get a better return than had I put it in an ISA with Lloyds.

It's normally the traders that get a stock price moving and traders work in different ways. There are some trading programmes out there (such as Victor Vest i think it's called) that works from analytics (I think that's the term). So, these are linked to FB, LinkedIn, Twitter etc, not to mention the likes of here. They work on a scoring system so lets say an RNS is announced it's a gets a point. Then there's increased chat on boards like this, another tick up, then a tick up on trades, or a the name/ticker gets mentioned on twitter etc. All increased activity adds another point. Eventually this raises an alert to traders. In the case of this, they would look at the charts, see the odd 1 day spike that goes up more then 30% and some will "take a dip". As more trades happen, more traders jump in. They always look at the history and this always has high but only one day spikes, so they are out again once they've made their 10% or 20%. That's how it happened when the JSE stock price went up a few months ago, and why it fell back down quickly.
