Sorry, do you think that it’s unreasonable for shareholders to have expected sales in a product launched 6 months ago during a worldwide pandemic with huge international demand?
Ignoring the fact that the CEO himself expected sales in June.
I guess there is still an outside chance of us getting sales but surely the chance is lower now that vaccines are on the horizon? We couldn’t get sales during the first lockdown, we couldn’t get sales leading up to the second wave. What chance do we have now?
I am assuming that the demand for tests will start to plateau, is that a fair assumption? Based on that, existing suppliers could probably service that demand. What is the incentive to introduce new suppliers?
Either way, I misjudged this investment like everybody else who has remained invested over the last few months. It was worth the gamble as if it had come in then we would all be laughing. Saying that, the thing I liked about GDR is that it does have some reasonable non-covid prospects so not all is lost.
Think the book a test thing was mentioned last week. I think given where we are with vaccines, time really is of the essence. Focussing on BC has to be the play.
One question I had, probably one for Technick is how much of the research/development performed for the covid products is transferable to future products?
I’m agreeing with you, don’t believe what I said.
Let me add to the fantasy. When I was a mere youth I took an absolute punt on an oil company called GKP based on a tip from a colleague. I put all my savings in and made an absolute killing.
Then, having so much unexpected disposable cash I took another punt in bitcoin.
I then played around in AIM for a few years barely breaking even and decided it wasn’t worth the time and energy. When the pandemic hit, it reminded me of the credit crunch where I made my first big profit and thought I would choose a single company to play around with.
The amount I invested here is a small amount of my total capital available.
I am pessimistic because my years of experience of AIM taught me that!
Obviously the above is complete fantasy, wish it were true!
Prior to last week I consistently stated that I am positive for the future and you would be able to verify this in my history. As you have pointed out though I am not positive about the present and I think that’s justified.
Most of my posts consist of questioning the accuracy of people who continuously make grand claims which turn out to be wrong with little to no justification.
As people can see from my posts, my attitude towards the share has been justified against what actually happened. This is in contrast to the people you stand up for who have turned out to be wrong for months. If being more accurate makes me look silly then so be it.
Again, you are correct to be sceptical. I wouldn’t believe me either.
