I wonder why now all the larger late trades show up as 'unkown' buy/sell .. let's hope they are buys ..
Tombeef,
who would be worried about dividends if you'd already doubled your money?
Merry Christmas to you too all on this group .. magnus ..
'Anybody waiting on March/April for good results is also gonna have their pants pulled down… just saying…'
Just saying but not saying very clearly, can you explain a bit better?
'110 as predicted a few weeks ago'
You were advising people to hold a few weeks ago, why would you do that if you knew it was going down to? Different day, different crap ..
Is there an English Government? I'm sure there is a British government that's seat of power is in England but I never knew there was an English Government ..
Awesome announcement a day early .. a new variant ..
But at one point today the day trader could have sold at around 4p profit, depending what he bought at on friday ... I'd take my hat off to him/her I would ..
Again, well played to anyone who sold above 149 .. great way to make the most of your money ..
You're the one complaining .. why not set up a board for long term Investors only .. is it all short term investors you dislike hearing from or only the minority who ramp/deramp ridiculously?
I think the news has been good and I expected it to break through 159p, some steadiness would be nice and I hope it won't slip back now, it's holding up not bad compared to IAG and Easyjet .. you never know, some other countries might jump on board with SMR,s, India springs to mind ..
I'm always tempted to sell at highs like this ..
I'd like Boris to be shoutinfrom the rooftops about SMR's at COP26 maybe it will happen yet ..
Also worrying that an announcement will be made regarding aviation at COP26 . .
I don't think today was so bad, compared to IAG and easyJet .. it's keeping its head above 140 ..
Well played to anyone who sold at 147+ ..
Amann: thanks for your contribution but we are calm!
yeah, I think the discussion was fairly laid back ..
JP Morgan raises target to 150p when it's already 147p (at the time) ..
Neither did I say I was hitting the absolute low and absolute highs, you don't have to ( and hardly ever will) do that that but it would help .. I'm not looking for an argument, it's a different point of view .. long term investors will never agree with short term investors ..
JTT
Crystal balls are great Mags. Not sure how much they nowadays though?
I never mentioned being able to tell the future, you don't need a crystal ball to tell you when the price has fallen back or the price has risen .. the internet tells me that !
I agree hindsight is a fabulous thing .. but I'm sure we all have our own idea when the price drops and when the price is hig, it's up to us to act on it, I made some money on Tesco when it was bouncing between 210 and 230, a lot more than if I'd just let it ride .. it's just my point of view, I'm not selling RR at its present high though, not sure it will drop back this time ..
'Long term investments always better ...'
I know there are long term investors and short term investors, but surely if you're buying in the dips and selling in the highs then you are better off ..
if I'd have sold two weeks ago at 120p, bought back in sub 110 then I would be around 2k better off now ..
