Okay unless I am totally wrong, and happy to be totally wrong if needed but WeShop directors have a lock in period but WeCap have no such restriction to their class A Ordinary Shares =

"The proposed listing would also give WeCap a direct see-through valuation from its approximately 16% current holding in WeShop on an enlarged basis* and would be a major step forward in providing our shareholders with a liquidity event that should be transformational to the value of WeCap."

That was from WeCap Sec - To me an immediate liquidity event and TRANSFORMATIONAL?

Again I would love someone to point me to the this infamous lock in period! WeCap have a % of WeShop class A shares, WeShop Class A Ordinary Shares are the class that was registered for resale and listed on the Nasdaq which means these are the shares investors can buy and sell on the market?

Why do they need permission? apart from director approvals, they hold a % of ordinary class A shares and presume they can sell when they want?

Yes careful what you share as could be looked on as misleading and get you suspended!

Latest update on WeShop from Stock Titan All positives with zero negatives. But also gives good insight what to monitor over the next few months.

If you have any doubt in what you have invested in give this video a watch! This was 2024 when they were just hoping to get in to the US Market and even then John Wecap Director was talking about the massive difference in mcap to NAV. 15 min video but John lays out exactly Wecaps position. from about 4 mins onwards. Well worth a watch and will increase your excitement if invested here. Thanks for the heads up on this one managed to get in just over 3.00 and looking forward to the journey.

Morning all

Over a fine glass of wine last night did some extensive reading and research. Yesterday there was a lot of noise over a 12 month lock in period for Wecap shares in Weshop. I could find no evidence or mention that such a lock in period exists? I found an old reference in Wecap audited accounts but not in relation to locking up shares. So basically no evidence to support a clear contractual 12 month restriction on Wecaps ability to sell its direct shares? If I am totally wrong a link to the documented 12 month restriction would be appreciated.
