When in WeCap on LSE you can see Aquis risers and fallers shortcuts, on left of screen top of risers on Aquis.

Hopefully WeShop have approached many high profile influencers in the US and given a small incentive to promote WeShop to their followers as they did in the UK, getting the right influencers onboard could be massive for WeShop and the influencers involved.

Fair point @wadogara more on the angle of an update from WeCap. Considering there webpage is very dated and the last media update on Jan 2024! lots have happened since then and thought they would have made more on the promotional side.

I think it will be a bit ground hog day today, institutional investors selling in to the rise, suppressing the SP, be happy to just finish in the blue today and then onwards and upwards on confirmed news.

@Cheety23 actually good call that, Not sure how that applies to WCAP but for small cap pre IPO they must sell after listing, not sure if that links to WeShop listing? and also they must sell if company grows to large for small cap only! Maybe all linked together perceived NAV and WeShop listing? Really just thinking out loud :-)

Institutional investors frequently take structured profits, Even when future prospects are strong, banking wins is standard practice, exiting part or all of the position while still believing the longer term story and remember at the end of the day they must keep portfolios balanced, basically locking in profit to rebalance the risks.

Bit of confidence out there, WCAP came in at #5 this week in ISA's Top 10 shares. Clutching at straws but every little helps in the absence of news :-) GLA

Exactly why I posted the need for WeCap to sell off some of their % in WeShop to cover this liability!

Looks like somebody is accumulating large chunks of shares today? 3 buys over 12k close together? I presume they are buys looking at the buy price at the time of trading?

As highlighted in share chat "WeCap could sell a limited portion of its holding without destabilising the market, especially if done gradually or through block trades. A relatively small disposal could remove the £6.97m liability due in 2026 and significantly strengthen the balance sheet. This optionality is important because it gives WeCap a route to improving its financial position without relying solely on market sentiment"

Surely this would make sense for WeCap, maybe they are already doing it and we will see an RNS? But removing the liability, with a bit extra cash flow moving in to 2026 but still with a significant exposure through remaining shares makes perfect sense? Maybe wrong and time will tell?

Fairly quiet day today so far compared to the volume and volatility last week, maybe the calm before the storm?
