Either this gets sorted in our favour by the 10th (hopefully with a settlement between PAT and the Rajastan gov.), or we have the means to nail them via arbitration. I bet Mark has delivered an ultimatum and the Rajastan gov. will finally cave in, walking away with a slice of the cake.
Get your golden tickets now as communication on the deal could come any day between now and the 10th.
Very compelling presentation yesterday. I think we are going to see a rerate soon. Some additional points to what has been said already:
- Eric reiterates that there's a lot of interest around the company. I would not be surprised if someone else comes forward before the SP moves too high
- AISC values are going down and Q3 could be another great one
- zero injuries and great relationship with the Tanzanian authorities. Easy to overlook these points but this is a great legacy that Eric leaves behind
- net debt will be zero within weeks, with or without the VAT payments
- Eric mentioned something about "dividend discussion" in a few weeks, I wonder if the dividend can be increased to 0.15 or 2p..
- the whole sector is still unloved and undervalued but that can change quickly, especially if POG crosses the 2k mark
All good but I am wondering: if we are producing from this high grade zone, did we really need a private placing at a discount just to gather 300k? Also, normally the cost of financing is included in the package, why paying for it upfront?
Anyway, the good news is that funding should be on the way and we can start moving ahead with the expansion.
Curious to see what the production for Q2 was and when this bloody prospectus will be ready...
Stop spamming. Get a proper education rather than following self professed gurus who prey on gullible and ignorant people. And no, I have no intention of watching some QAnon conspiracy carp.
No need to reply as your comments are going to be filtered from now on.
Noel, please stop with this nonsense. Martin Armstrong is a convicted felon, a serial fraudster and promoter of crackpot economic theories. Certainly he's not consulted by central banks and he's definitely not an economist. Those who take him seriously need to see a good doctor.
Let's talk about SHG rather than silly non-existent gold backed currencies. It's all russian propaganda.
Great news as the options expire in March 2024 and that means that Mark is confident that things will move quickly. Obviously we al prefer to see the Bhukia issue being resolved rather than simply securing funding for the litigation, but it would still be a milestone and he deserves to be rewarded.
next stop 10p
We have a lot of debt so any base rate raise by the BoE will impact the SP. I don't understand then why we continue with the share repurchase instead of lowering debt. Once rates start going down again (next year?) this will lift off..
This is now way oversold. True that the current basket price has fallen significantly, but we are still making probably around $5-7M net profit per quarter. Once you factor in the cash in the bank and the reliability of our operations, the SP does not make any sense. Happy to buy some more as we wait for PMs to recover.
I am always skeptical about the manipulation theories. It's just a very illiquid share and it doesn't take much for the SP to tank if someone sells a decent chunk. We are 1-2 weeks away from what are potentially transformational news.
The only negative scenario would be: court case delayed again and no funding for the litigation. But i can't see our backers disappear at this stage. If they do it's because we don't need them any more..
We might have seen the last bits of Odey's holding being offloaded. It'll soon get back to 11p.
Please note that we are also waiting for drilling results from Luika and WK. And around the 20th we should have official confirmation of the best quarter ever in terms of production and revenues
Terry, your decamping is quite pathetic. There's no rush to invest in other mines as the current assets have many years left. They'll take the right opportunity at the right time. In the meantime we keep generating huge amounts of cash. If you want to invest elsewhere nobody will stop you. But I am certainly filtering your comments from now on
