RE: Move Fresh Limited19 Nov 2022 18:11
Yes, I was on the same line of thinking. There were buyer(s) near 5p on Friday, there would have been buyers much higher, had it not been the weekend. Any shareholder can vote, and any larger holder can impact the vote through accumulation that's the risk of this kind of buyout to take private.
And shareholders don't lose there shares even after they go private, so why would a loss making shareholders sell any now - when they could get more later than all time low down here - no one should be in a hurry to sell to the buyer(s) this low.
And b/o buyer expects to pay higher, as they have clearly said seek advise if selling your shares to them - as your shares will be available to you after going private, and they may be much higher on par value close value.
(there interesting part is here is 3% holding for Fresh Move ltd. They need 15% or so)
Special case here, hence why I am so interested here. Share buyout 100% of times pushes price up. Some is willing to pay more for shares - they (CEO) may have killed the price (after paying 20p) in hope of buying out/ intentions. Not uncommon. The buyers ( CEO)ceiling may be to 20p here depends on how bad they want to take it private.
Just my two cents, and not traders perspective - who think different for quick gain and not really sure why they were able to make little money sometimes.
