Another line of thought is perhaps it's not so much multiple infections but that the original infection may not have been entirely eliminated but enters a prodromal phase then reappears ... Whatever the case this is not a disease to be toyed with and no one should let their guard down ... You may get it and get over it, or you may suffer from long covid, or even die from it as have some of my good good friends and relatives have ... I've been double jabbed but I'm still not taking risks, plus who knows I could have it and pose a risk to others and not even know. ... we need to progress 1082 ASAP ... Best regards Mafuta

As more of us become immune, through vaccination and catching Covid, the more beneficial it is for the virus to evolve ways of dodging that immunity - known as immune escape. "We are probably at the evolutionary high point, at the worst combination for an escape to happen in the UK," said Dr Aris Katzourakis, who studies viral evolution at the University of Oxford. "The UK is in a prone position, whether it will happen we don't know, but it's more likely to happen here, now, than ever before."

I don't know why Dan left but his demise was quick. He resigned on the 22nd June 2020 and only stayed a week to facilitate "an orderly handover".
What is particularly interesting is that both Dan and Joanne who have both left remain with large shareholdings:
Dr D J Gooding 37,500,000
Dr J M Holland 37,500,000
So between them 12.6% of the total shares in issue, that's a fair old chunk.
I think the question to be asked is why have they held on to their holdings and not dumped them. They must know something very interesting.

"HNWI" as HotBlack mentions is in the singular .... BUT .... that does not preclude an II from investing on similar terms IF SAR is agreeable ... if they did so that would bolster the eligibility for a grant from the "future fund" ... but in retrospect I expect SAR has enough backing from it's PIs and all the attention from those big pharmas busy circling at the moment ... I get a real feeling that the MMs are done filling their orders at lower levels and we are about to experience a re-rate ... we will have to see what happens next week ...Mafuta

FFX not all redundancies are compulsory some are negotiable (mine was) this allows a company to rehire the position if they wish ... Not sure if that helps explain the figures but my best guess is he jumped before he was pushed or he just got tired of it all (as I did) ... in any case I found the annual report less than rivetting reading.

It's great to see such a positive spirit on the BB ... I've only been in SAR for little over a year so cannot class myself as a LTH ... My initial investment was quite modest and was based on my own assessment of potential ... But over that year and a bit the hard work of our diligent researchers ... (they know who they are) ... has spurred me on to make a sizable investment with confidence ... yes it has been a bumpy ride but the research and convincing data posted here have helped me sit on my hands when most tempted to liquidate ... we have a way to go yet but I have never been so confident about something in my life ... when it all ends I will miss all the informative posts and banter... I won't miss the empty vessels though as there are plenty of them on the other BBs I frequent. ... Have a restful weekend everyone ... I think next week could turn out interesting as I think the MMs may loosen the grip on the price somewhat ... no supporting data just a gut feel ... call it ramping if you like, who cares? ... Danny what's not to get excited about? Others have touted that there is another HNWI waiting in the wings and if so it could get us in line for a chunk of the pie. I think next week could be very interesting indeed. Mafuta

A new coronavirus variant is under investigation in the UK, Public Health England has said.

The variant, known as B.1.621, was designated a variant under investigation on Wednesday
