It's touted to be a focused pharmaceuticals business with three core disciplines: general medicines, vaccines and speciality drugs. The speciality drugs is the high growth area and where SAR would be of interest. They want to align New GSK more closely with its largest global competitors ... so the pressure is on ... Guess which bit Walmsley will be left in charge of.
