Danny I feel the agile route is dead in the water ... The conditions attached must have various strings and restrictions attached ... As much as it may irritate some the bod will want to see the best commercial outcome and will want to sell the IP to the highest bidder ... So that precludes government involvement ... I get the strong feeling that our BOD are pressing all the right buttons ... I have they have learnt from their brush with the Chinese pharma ... I've never quite understood their involvement but thinks there's more to it than we see on the surface ... WIP ... also forgot to add that your SIPP lifetime allowance is frozen at £1,073,100 which calculated on your holdings is 73p a share not beyond the realms of possibilities ... If you withdraw the excess you get stung for 55% tax ... Methinks you may need to get professional advice for your SIPP

WIP I wouldn't worry too much about accessing your SIPP just now you will just pay tax if you withdraw above your personal allowance anyway ... but you do get 25% tax free on any lump sum you withdraw ... Needs careful management if you don't want to pay the tax man ... fill up your ISA each tax year it's the best bet for tax free money ... Rejoice in your youth being over 55 brings other issues ...
