Presentation slide 811 Apr 2019 16:07
Well according to presentation it states the will drill 15-20m in the eocene and test, then they will drill further down, another 250m. Interesting
1. The Company’s A-80 workover rig has
completed all preparatory work for well C-37
deepening operations. These activities have
included pulling the electrical submersible
pump out of hole and subsequently running
in hole with a scraper to the production
casing shoe at a depth of 3,904 metres,
as well as performing a series of well
investigations by wireline. The estimated
saving achieved by utilising Zenith’s A-80
workover rig to complete these activities has
been assessed as approximately US$250,000.
2. Deepen well C-37’s total depth, 3,987
metres, by 15-20 metres into the Middle
Eocene formation and subsequently perform
a production test. The Company believes
there may be significant reserves in place to
be produced from this formation on account
of historical production data from well C-22
3. Following the completion of drilling
activities in the Middle Eocene formation
target zone, Zenith will proceed with
deepening well C-37 by approximately
200-250 metres to penetrate the Upper
Cretaceous formation and test the fluid
content of this new, unexploited structure
Complete
Zenith’s geological and
reservoir investigations have
resulted in the identification
a new structure in the
Middle Eocene and Upper
Cretaceous formations of
the Jafarli Field
The identified structure
measures approximately 3
square kilometres with a
significant degree of closure
indicated by a thickness of
approximately 100 metres
Zenith has formulated
a highly prospective twostage drilling programme to
bring potentially significant
reserves from the Middle
Eocene and Upper
Cretaceous formations
into production
