GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
I reckon this Placement wasn't planned until fairly recently.
I say that for no other reason than I couldn't see any commencement date or time frames for the proposed work.
And given there's been 3 working months of radio silence.
142 million new shares........ that's more than were in circulation when LND launched on AIM.
All for a poxy £1m. Chunk of that will go to keep them gainfully employed & pay their working expenses to cover any investment made with Placement. Win, win.
"We are delighted............".
No wonder the MMs have knocked 30% off this over past 3-4 months.
You'd think the MMs are thinking same as us.
But that doesn't show when it comes to trades. They seem happy to give stock away barely over Mid (sometimes near Bid). You'd think they'd be as keen as anyone to get price moving north. Or at least not offer any discount especially on such relatively small valued trades.
I'm starting to think that perversely the lack of news and the AR being published later than usual is actually a positive that something significant is happening.
That was certainly the rumour doing the rounds down Madame Una's Massage Parlour last night.
Yes UR......... disappointing & frustrating but hardly a great surprise.
It's the lack of any general interest and/or activity in stock purchases that really surprises me. Given current historic lows and possible potential of Co in the short-term.
Not sure I altogether understand why IF they are in any real discussions with a 3rd party they couldn't say so without naming names or any commercial detail. Don't think that would breach any confidentiality agreement in place (especially if it was a JV).
As always it seems as if they are happy to have the share price drift lower & lower.
I assume Mich the MMs haven't got wind of anything happening in the background Otherwise you wouldn't have got your Buy trade at such a discount today.
Either - any deal they are working on is the best kept corporate secret ever OR nowt is going on and they are just sitting on their hands hoping/waiting for an offer to materialise.
My bet = they have already received an offer for a JV. But it isn't going to excite many when it does get finalised. Least of all have much impact on the sp. As always am happy to be proven wrong.
Just for the sake of balance......... Prickett said virtually the same thing about JV & outright sale when FD of HPD about 15 years ago coming out of Brancote............. 15 years later that Company has been a disaster. No JV nor sale. Lost 99% of value. Cash burn of £250m. Of course he 'retired' from that Company about 6 years ago.
If there was anything material concluded here then they have an obligation under Market rules to announce it. Here's hoping.

Still have this niggle that IF there genuinely is serious negotiations taking place some would have got wind of it (even if via the tea lady at the House Broker or down at Madame Una's Massage Parlour - confidentiality agreement don't usually have a long life span)) and there'd be signs for us to see with the usual herd of PI punters loading up. But it's been dead for 3-4 months now. Something doesn't add up. But here's hoping I'm wrong.
I'm based in the South West but if this gets me 10p per share I'm very happy to travel up to the Big Smoke (having lived & worked there for 25 years).
If it reaches 20p think the nearest pub to La Tonnelle House in Guernsey should be the venue. Maybe we should all attend the last EGM to cast our votes for accepting the deal.
Rose tinted specs must be worn.

I've still got some LND certificates that have changed colour from white to yellow because they've sat in a drawer for so long!!
There's been so many false dawns here I might die from the shock if they announce a disposal.
UR
Your point about the JV could be the opposite to your thinking ie it could well end up being a JV simply because it's taking so long to complete the legal stuff. And they wouldn't be able to announce the JV until deal was formally ratified (which could take many months once lawyers get involved).
UR
You know as much or as little as I do mate.
I would have thought it wouldn't take that long for both parties to agree basic terms & conditions of a deal. Especially if they are negotiating in good faith and on the same page with one another.
What could take yonks in the due diligence process.
A non-disclosure agreement would probably only last for a limited time whilst they discussed & fine-tuned the main elements of a potential deal. Being realistic that should have been done by now (if happening).
Due diligence would then most likely be done when a deal is agreed between both parties in principle. At which point a RNS would have to be issued under AIM rules is my understanding. And ANY disposal deal would require shareholder approval by way of a formal vote.
Of course they could take as long as they like to agree a JV without shareholders being consulted. Basically do whatever they wanted when they wanted.
For the past 9 years they have always published the AR in the month of May. Let's hope that pattern continues as an AR would surely clarify what's going on (if anything). And what the strategy is going forward.
I'm starting to be of a mind that probably they are in some form of discussion/negotiation....... but just like BREXIT they ain't straightforward.
Just look at how complicated the set up is within LND. You have Ms Tuomi being the one issuing the operations report as a Director of Landore Resources Canada Inc. She isn't a Director of the Company we all hold shares in.
Trying to work out what LND properties are owned by whom and on what basis gives you a headache!!!
I was a shareholder in ADP (losing everything) a Company Prickett was a Director in. Seems to me from limited research I was able to do he was a Director for 20-30 companies that all were liquidated/dissolved.
Just saying. Whilst I get my knitting needles out.
Evening UR
Personally I wouldn't put ANY store by what RP says. He's said a lot of things that have never come to pass.
He stated there were interested parties in an interview when BAM was first announced a few years back.
I don't doubt there's loads of industry interest in LND/BAM. Especially miners based in that neck of the woods. It'd be unthinkable & unprofessional for them not to be showing some level of interest.
