Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
It would be nice to see the news directors dip their hands in their pockets and buy some shares. It would give existing shareholders a little confidence.
Looks like oil man Jim was wrong.

Stef is founder of cassiopeia services ltd, a PR / IR company, about to do an in-depth interview with #AST CEO Andrew Dennan. She is asking for questions investors would like putting to the CEO.
How about, how much is this promotion costing AST, when is the next placing and at what price.
Stef - Ast have a joint venture with Geoenergo the Slovenian national oil and gas company, with Ast having a 75% stake and being liable for 100% of costs. Having spent approximately 50 million euros and Colin Hutchinson once putting a NPV of 200 million euros on the project. Could you ask the new CEO if Ast were to leave Slovenia he would be looking for compensation well in excess of 150 million euros. If the Slovenian Government were to obey EU law and allow Ast to conduct their lawful business unhindered that he will still be seeking compensation for the financial harm done to Ast and so long term shareholders.
Bearing in mind communists are the same the world over, wanting private investors to put up the cash and take the risk, then at the slightest prospect of a profit they seek nationalisation. Does he not see history repeating with Ast now doing deals with the Cuban national oil company.
Ewen Ainsworth Non-Executive Director of the Company has subscribed for 454,545 Placing Shares for £12,500. Accordingly, 454,545 Warrants will also be issued to Mr Ainsworth on the same terms as other investors.
We also expect to reveal shortly a revised strategy in Slovenia, where the new Board has been assessing alternatives to unlock near term value in this core asset."
If Mr Ainsworth knows of Slovenia strategy and that would affect share price is that not insider trading. Slovenia strategy should be announced first, unless strategy would make share price fall, of course.
rescheduled for week after Easter.

Shinra, I agree with your stance and view.
A few eco nuts have been allowed to wreck the investment made by AST, with the indifference of the Slovene Government. In any other European country at least the LTH would have a good return on their investment by now in my opinion,

Worth a read, mostly about German shale and refers to hydraulic stimulation as conventional fracking.
RNS 17 December 2019
Claims for damages and funding
As previously announced, the Company has been progressing an arbitration claim for the significant damages incurred as a direct result of the manifestly wrong actions of the Slovenian authorities and continues to have positive discussions with parties interested in providing non-recourse litigation funding to advance this claim.

The part - Investor-State Dispute Settlement
could have been written with AST and Slovenia in mind, but it happens all the time. The Slovenians are not doing anything that has not been tried before.
Arbitration is generally carried out behind closed doors, so I suspect none of us really know what is going on.

As part of the consultations conducted by the Prime Minister, we would like to hail the decision of the State of Cameroon for settling a first batch of certified bills for a total amount of XAF 45 billion through the issuance of Treasury Bonds (OTA) ) allowing the injection of fresh cash into the sector. This operation, which we hope to see completed as soon as possible, will allow the partial clearance of the debts of power and fuel suppliers, and ensure the regular supply of fuel during sensitive periods such as elections, CHAN [African Nations Football Championship to be held in Cameroon from 4 to 25 April 2020, Editor’s Note] etc.

Perhaps they will have to have something sorted by April.
Being bashed by ************* should give everyone hope, look at the garbage they have ramped, bst, nipt, kefi just off the top of my head
The problem with ast is the eco loons, some of whom post on here. The strategy by the tree huggers is to cause ast to run out of cash. Colin has been strung along with promises of permits shortly. Even now ARSO will be dragging their feet, the Enviroment Minister must have asked for their reasoning for demanding an EIA.
As I remember Ast are paying all the costs of the project, with state oil company as operator. Ast currently taking 90% of profits until they have recovered their costs and then get 75% of profits?
My opinion is that if Eniroment Minister sides with ARSO, don't invest any more money in Slovenia and seek compensation. If no EIA is necessary Colin should still seek compensation, perhaps buy back and cancel all the unnecessary shares placed over the years, at Slovenian expense of course.
AST being rubbished on share profits.
As most know CAD showed interest in AST a few years back, looks like they are selling their gas trading arm.
Cad also have an oil and gas support service arm, could be useful to ast
http://www.cadoganpetroleum.com/operations/oil-services.aspx
.
They have also loaned Proger cash in a convertible loan deal. Proger are Italian project design and management specialists, projects include oil and gas.

If Slovenia were to convert their power stations to gas, Proger could be helpful

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trbovlje_Power_Station
Would all seem to hinge on ast's cash position.
Don't know if this has been posted before. Colin has said gas fired power stations produce less co2, could this be converted to gas? Perhaps things going on behind the scenes
