TheTrotsky, all is correct. COFA/ACA div. once a year. COFA div. paid 24/05/23 was €1.52, div. ACA XD 30/05/23 due 01/06/23 €1.05. As for any other stocks, divs are not guaranteed, they can go up or down, or indeed be suspended. So far, my stock hopping is working, but not set in stone. Divs declarations are done with enough notice to switch to something else if they are not generous enough. I am not paying taxes because my shares are held in a wrapper (PEA) similar to an ISA.
However, for UK investors, from what you say, it would not be dissimilar to DEC divs. Best, 🐸
Broomtree, I have no ill will whatsoever towards you, but it sounds like "the" last blessing.

Hello Mondex, I have been investing in COFA for a few years, specifically for the div. However, out of current 5K I would only retain 500 permanently. The rest I will sell in order to get div. elsewhere, ORA and ETL. I do the same with ACA

Unfortunately, I cannot use COFA proceeds to buy ACA (only the former’s div.), as the XDs are too close to each other’s, both end May/beginning June. After XDs there is always a marked deep in SP and it takes a while to return to normality, hence my utilising the proceeds towards the others with XDs around Dec. which allows me to time the market as best as possible. Then I reverse the process to be in place for COFA and ACA divs the following year. So far so good. I came a cropper in the past doing the same between Gas Co Engie and ORA.
With regards to taxation, I am not in a position to help as the above are held in an account in France.
Follow these links, they might help, if relevant – I did not read them yet. Your broker will be in a better position to clarify the situation.

Jim800, I know the feeling. I am in a position of over exposure with PFC, 20% and 10% in share dealing and ISA acs, -48% and -54%, underwater, respectively. But there is hope. I had been in a similar situation in the past with INDV, which now is my best investment at +294%. However, DEC is more of a passive income stock for me and less worrisome, which at the moment stands at 4% of my share dealing ac and today is -6% underwater. Best, 🐸
ASI, ah, ah, ah! good one, old chap😊 Best,🐸
Broomtree, in omnipresence, with omniscience and omnipotence, your omnipotent surely loves you. Embrace the gift and may you rejoice in the glorious grace.

ASI, "so when you are praying to god you're talking to yourself" And that was exactly my point, I have conversations "with" my agnostic self. My God! are the white coats on their way? Best,🐸
ASI, My God! you are back! 😊 God, or whatever name one choses (no pronoun ;-) is love!🐸
Broomtree,
1. By saying “you do realise that’s an attribute and not a person”, you challenged the way I used the word “omnipotent” - Merriam-Webster confirmed it had been applied properly and in doing so, that you were incorrect by stating “not a person”. Obviously, you did not like that.
2. You went on saying “Well if you don’t even know if it’s a he or she…”. Again, I gave you a direct quote explaining the various pronouns used for such entities. Obviously, you did not like that either.
3. Also, as you went on a tangent, in reply, with the words “Omnipotence”, “Omniscience” and “Omnipresence”, it became – extraneous - to the gist of the post.
4. After saying “certainly not the place for theological debate…”, in complete contradiction to that, you developed your argument with a dogmatic narrative. Again, – extraneous - to the gist of the post.
5. Therefore, it all turned into semantics. Semantics, noun: “the branch of linguistics and logic concerned with meaning. The two main areas are logical semantics, concerned with matters such as sense and reference and presupposition and implication, and lexical semantics, concerned with the analysis of word meanings and relations between them”. Of course, I know which one of those two apply here but you decide for yourself.
6. Finally, you could not resist to seize an auxesis, or, to avoid such a lofty word, a metaphor said in jest, to display your masterful proficiency of jibes.
As for the white coats…please, refer to the end of 6 above.

The way I read it, the reply adds and clarifies nothing. It is obvious that if HUR is delisted it will no longer qualify, duh! However, DCUs will not be. As it stands it is an instrument in a state of uncertainty. In my view, we are none the wiser.🐸
Broomtree, semantics and extraneous!
I am not talking "to" but "with", as in sharing thoughts, misdeeds (transgressions would be too dogmatic) and at times regrets but I do not make demands.

Omnipotent, noun = “one who has unlimited power or authority” cf. Merriam-Webster
Omnipotent, , adjective = “having virtually unlimited authority or influence”
"God is described as omnipotent and benevolent"
I do not want to upset any sensibilities. I am not a bigot and respect all faiths; I am more of an agnostic, although baptised in the Roman catholic faith. Is God a HE in the Christian faith? “Christian tradition has recognized many pronouns for God, including “he/him,” “she/her” and “they/them.” This is partly because God does not have a gender” and I would add “thou” in the list. Others would simply “wish on a star”. well, I am sure you catch my drift! End of lesson.
