Wise words & I totally agree. 12 trading days until the results - experience suggests a good deal of action can happen to the price in that time. My nagging concern is that we haven't seen a selling climax on this leg down. Maybe a candlestick outside the Bollinger Bands or a touch of the lower price channel.
Concerns aside, this is a great play generating oodles of cash & reducing the debt gearing. My guess is this commodity cycle has years to run.
Either the £1.54 level (which acted as resistance in early December 2016) provides support here or we're heading lower - maybe the mid £1.40s. MACD still negative.
Iron ore down, talk of more supply coming on tap. Inevitable really at these price - classic commodity cycle

MACD negative. You could have anticipated bad news in the pipeline to explain the price weakness.
When opportunity knocks around the mid £1.40s it is unlkely any news will be positive IMHO.
VALE under 10 on NYSE.
Bon chance
That's 3 weeks tomorrow. MACD negative & losing traction. Looks weak - suspect we'll see more blood letting, in the form of another plunge towards the bottom of the price channel (mid £1.40s), before the 22nd.
Couldn't resist topping up.
Decent results from VALE. Bernstein's Paul Gait believes Vale has reached an inflection point, as "cash generation and rapid de-gearing is the agenda henceforth, and we believe that the positive results today should lend further weight to this argument."

Yes my mistake. Didn't refresh the chart after the school run. This share can really move, 10% + in a day amazing volatility . Been trading it around a post since 86p
Nothing unusual in ratings agencies playing catch up - by their nature they are behind the curve. Still, onwards & upwards.
