Like I said before, UHNW investors win and lose money on the markets, like the rest of us. IMO, too many people got carried away with I.K's stake-building here; I have more than one investment that has gone pop, or as good as, with people like that on the main holder roster. They usually do not know more than we do. And they do not always win - although of course the jury is still out on this one in principle, or at least technically.
That was also why I was pondering whether he had it all in his SIPP or any in an ISA. If this gets de-listed, it cannot remain in an ISA. Maybe he will throw a lot more in here next week at presumably a very low SP, and become a properly big holder here?
Even if that scenario were to play out, no certainties that PI's would come away in clover though, because IMO that RNS was very bad. Boardroom politics and brinkmanship of a most toxic nature, IMO.
Just do not put any more in here than you can personally afford to lose, is what I would say, to those who might be tempted to do such a thing. Obviously your money, your choice etc.
