I had similarly....less than positive preconceptions about him too. Which is why I was cross at myself for my original punt here and as I alluded to previously.

Never invest, or even trade, in anything where you neither respect the business, or the BOD, IMO. So, it serves me right, really.

But ultimately, to my mind, this was loser behaviour and a lack of integrity too. But to each their own approach in life and in business.

Current and potential shareholders here will have their own views and make their own decisions in the days ahead.

If there are no further RNS updates, or positive media articles prior to Tuesday, then a circa 17% drop from here seems a little optimistic, IMO.

I am sure a little trade or two might present itself next week for the brave, but as I said earlier, and more for the attention of those who are perhaps a little newer to the stock market game here, just be careful. GLA.

And to add to your list: a few AIM outfits (no specifics, just in general) that frankly look like out and out scams. Clear front running of raises, good or bad news leaks etc, etc.

Thank goodness we have regulatory bodies who take no prisoners when it comes to foul play, lol.

While I absolutely agree the government should be making the UK a more business-friendly jurisdiction, these failing outfits are failing because they are typically run by weak leadership teams. And without exception, they tend to take remuneration well beyond what can reasonably be justified. Especially at a stage where company performance and balance sheet is not bullet proof.

AIM needs some radical reforms in particular, but ultimately good companies are doing just fine.

More serious consequences for a failure of fiduciary duty for a start. IMO anyway. Generally speaking, not this name, per se.

I take negative ratings from the likes of them as a buy signal, personally.

IMO, a key level will probably be around the 4 quid point, but with only a short wait until the proper update, it may get a bit choppy here in the run up. And that update is going to either underpin the bull case, or reverse it.

With all the Barker buys, I am plumping for the former, but it never pays to look too far ahead, so do not hold me to that!

But, while not a particularly complex process in itself, IMO being a minor shareholder of a de-listed company really requires a lot more time and scrutiny of the business than with a listed entity.

Fewer protections, less transparency and much else besides. Can be quite lucrative though, so not all downsides. But not the best option for everyone, IMO. Again, I would suggest you get professional advice on the topic if you think it applicable to yourself.

As to where things stand here now: I overlooked the H loan extension confirmation. Maybe see if they want to take some equity in the company for cash and remove JD altogether? Only joking. Sort of :)

It will be interesting to see if the company push for a CVA now, rather than accept the terms that JD appears to have put forward. On the assumption that those loan discussions elsewhere do not come good instead, of course.

It is times like this where I miss being actively involved in the cut and thrust and coal face of the business world!

What a boardroom battle this could be right now. You need to be ruthless in business, but you do not need to do things this way to be successful.

Like I said before, UHNW investors win and lose money on the markets, like the rest of us. IMO, too many people got carried away with I.K's stake-building here; I have more than one investment that has gone pop, or as good as, with people like that on the main holder roster. They usually do not know more than we do. And they do not always win - although of course the jury is still out on this one in principle, or at least technically.

That was also why I was pondering whether he had it all in his SIPP or any in an ISA. If this gets de-listed, it cannot remain in an ISA. Maybe he will throw a lot more in here next week at presumably a very low SP, and become a properly big holder here?

Even if that scenario were to play out, no certainties that PI's would come away in clover though, because IMO that RNS was very bad. Boardroom politics and brinkmanship of a most toxic nature, IMO.

Just do not put any more in here than you can personally afford to lose, is what I would say, to those who might be tempted to do such a thing. Obviously your money, your choice etc.

Very bad form, IMO. I had a nasty feeling this would happen, but I still had a little hope that he might do the decent thing in the end.

To leave it until the close on the final day, after getting that extension, well disgusting, actually.

No doubt some posters will be polishing this (rhymes with bird) of an update shortly, trying to put a positive spin on things, but IMO, taking everything into consideration, I cannot see the investment case now.

Nothing stopping you from contacting them. It would not surprise me if the greater the volume of enquiries, the more likely they might be to investigate, but perhaps I am not giving the authorities enough credit.

At the risk of sounding de-rampish...I am only going to add if we get close to a revisit of the 50 DMA (which will not happen today, of course). If that drift happens on no company-specific news, I could then see a bounce back to the 130's....at which point I would likely slice.
