It looks to me that the Mooky fella has brought all this on himself and the company.
For a start the handling of the Cineplex deal was an absolute disaster as the court case brought up.
I reckon that is what has broke the camels back and also the money is just not coming in fast enough and they have mountains and mountains of debt.
TBH even if they did survive it will take years for the share price to recover and years for them to clear their debt; the banks dont wait forever. :)))))), Lvu333

I must admit what has happened here with Cineworld has really opened my eyes about investing and how important it is to only invest money that you wont really miss that much and that you can afford to lose it all.
Even if you do all your research and all the rest of it and think its good, it can still go pear shaped.
I honestly think a lot of investing is pure luck,about how well the company does the macro economic factors,ie wars pandemics etc and most importantly timing,when to get out,when to take profit.Also try and buy low and leave it for long enough for it to go up enough to take a nice profit.
I feel for people that have lost a lot of money,but money has a way of coming back to you one way or another and you will survive and learn from your losses. :))))), Lvu333

You would think that he would have tried to sell Cineworld,the lot of it if he knew the writing was on the wall.

Probably Cineworld and Mooky have been in denial and thought they could turn the ship around, but alas it was all in vain and the mountains of debt has caught them out,a lesson for all companies going into spiralling debt that is insurmountable,:)))), Lvu333

I think it will go down to 1p and then a slow trickle into the 0.43p,then all over.
Cineworld's reputation is now in tatters. I suppose some crazy people could still make money trying to trade it but to me that is just sheer gambling. I feel for everybody's losses and all the people that work for Cineworld.

Just my thoughts, but if SGSC get a good offer on it,they will sell. Personally i hope they do as i dont want to wait another few years before they get this drug to market.
Interesting times ahead for this one.
It would be great if there was a bidding war for this drug between the big pharma's; watch this space.

Also it all depends really what SGSC do. Do they sell or do they do the trials themselves then sell.
It is an SGSC decision. How much do they need the money for their business?
How long are they willing to wait for trials and approvals etc?
It could take another two or three years to get trials, approvals,selling it done.
So it is possible that Vela shareholders need to wait a while longer for the outcome of this one,its all down to SGSC.
I suppose depending on what decision SGSC make,then Vela can act accordingly as they see fit,i would imagine that Vela will hold onto their investment with SGSC because of the massive potential. :)))))), Lvu333

Well roy29, if SGSC sell the AZD1656 outright, i would imagine that they would want a very good price for it; especially if the drug has the potential for saving lives. How do you put a price on that? Millions and millions of £££££££££££. £200million maybe? Who knows.
If SGSC are successful then Vela are successful. I have no idea how much in monetary terms Vela would make from it,but considerably well i would imagine. The share price would go up if Vela made millions from it.

This drug could even be better than first imagined, as it can help in other ways.
Someone might even buy the AZD1656 outright as Ciz indicated in their RNS, which i think would be massive and take less time to do more trials, let someone else do the trials and pocket the money,IMO,:))))), Lvu333

Its up 21% at the moment, the RNS has just come out and investors digesting it,a bit more patience required.
Once it is commercialised then we will see facts and figures then it could still be pretty good.

Not be that long until we see the sp at 1p, IMO.
