Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It has been suggested in the past that this company could get to 30p with the right conditions. Personally I think we try to get to 1p and then 3p.
#JoeKing53 - if anyone else enters into the isolated war, it will quickly escalate to a nuclear war. At that point we will all be looking back on it and asking why we didn't intervene earlier. Our politicians and military leaders and the rest of the NATO reps are well aware that they run this risk and will not push Putin more than they have to.
It all really depends on Putins mental state, if he starts looking at sanctions as a truer declaration of war, maybe it will happen, it all depends on he views the aid being given to Ukraine.
Where is all this doom of global nuclear war coming from? NATO has not and will most likely not join the fight. As long as it remains an isolated fight between Ukraine and Russia, as much as it sucks, we aren't going to see a massive global dip in the stock market.
The reason we are seeing SMT fall is due to it being massively over inflated due to the amount of money that has been printed during the Trump and Biden era that was sent straight to banks to put in to the market. This caused massive over valuations of the stocks and now these assets are finally readjusting the their respective actual values. Its way overdue.
Yes global war threats will be causing people to withdraw money, but have you seen the ftse, its barely dropped compared to the covid and right now, Ukraine can't join NATO and is currently saying its withdrawing from the idea.
Does anyone understand why this company seems to have changed its name to Sushma Geo Corp?
It is an encouraging strategy, just needs to be put in to good practice with decent grades now. Bring on the next season.
what do you reckon we adding another zero to the price soon? I welcome it personally as i'd love to buy more cheaper and wait for the outcome of this.
And decent finds, if you go back six months to a year investors on here were looking for bonanza grades, which is rare, all you need is decent finds and in GWMO's case, which plays to its strengths, a way to make money to help tide things over while exploring. Giving attention to the spoils is a very sensible play here and will help long term longevity of the company.
I suppose the other way to look at it is to say, now is the time to buy... we have a crappy price, but news is beginning to turn.
I'm a bit amazed the price has slid this much, considering we went from having no finds.. to having finds... and then to having exceptional spoils. Its a bit odd. I know people were looking for bonanza grades.. but that is unrealistic for most prospects. Becoming operationally profitable should be the real goal here.
8 days discounting today.
Ahh, thats not due for another 8 days yet, the expected completion date on bloomberg is 31st. So maybe Monday 1st we will get an RNS for that. I figured there was something a bit sooner.
what is the deadline for?
What RNS are you expecting to drop on monday that will make this company a winner? (i'm new to this company, done some research and its accounts aren't exactly optimistic, but it does operate in a popular sector)
I'm just throwing it out there... the resolutions are available publicly and no one has been told they can't vote. You can instruct through your broker, or if you hold in your name, you can vote via form of proxy. If anyone doesn't have a form of proxy they should be available on the website or on the national storage mechanism provided by the FCA. Now as someone who works in stockbroking and has a tertiary role in helping facilitate these meetings, nearly every company I deal with is taking precautions, its not a tactic CB is using to hide. Its for the protection of everyone else, who are still have mechanisms in place to make sure their voices are heard at any company meetings.
When you hit rock bottom there's only one way to go....
At least that's the theory to work on.
I'd probably not being sleeping right either if I was sitting in his chair. Lots of assets to prove up, lots of potential excitement, results that could have been better, joint venture partners to find, reputational damage to repair from previous bod.
That presentation shows just how broad a company GWMO is and how many different battles and strategies Brian is probably having to fight and contrast at the moment to come up with results for us.
What do we make of these points on the spoil heaps?
A summer 2021 field trip revealed that the spoil heaps are materially more extensive than previously
calculated, with 51 heaps in total, potentially covering 14,000 m² (previously 38 heaps covering 5,000 m²)
• Processing may be simplified by producing concentrate and selling it to a refinery rather than pouring
precious metals in a remote location which has associated security risks
I think there is more to be gained from producing dor bars than concentrate. Thoughts?
First post to this board, thought I'd have a mooch since the company I work for has clients wondering about the financial strength of EasyJet.
To clarify, the record date is the date the company goes through its record of shareholders to see who is a valid holder of the shares. The ex-date is the date that draws the line on who is eligible to participate in the event, and who is it not. If you hold shares after the ex date, you qualify, if you sold your holding before the ex-date, you do not qualify. Simple.
Rights Issue, it seems to me that the company is raising funds in order to survive, this is why the price is sinking as its very much highlighting the companies own thoughts on its survival, especially if they are offering a what was a deep discount at announcement date. It smells of desperation.
at the moment*
It is a lot of low grade results, a lot of people have been on here hyped for the high grades that used to be produced. It the moment we seem to be a viable shallow pit operation, but the mentally of the investors on AIM is to chase the bonaza, not the long term strategy and strengthening fundamentals a company like GWMO has the potential to produce.
