Not too sure about HSBC or Deloitte's being VAP's place of work. I made a few enquiries re both employers and it seems neither would favour their men building up stakes in illiquid micro caps. Time will tell but in the meantime I will seek clarification from BIOM. I did email VAP @ Sintex, so far to no avail.

IF VAP is indeed a Sintex man we could certainly anticipate some excitement. Possibly you are aware of his true identity Parpaing ? Certainly his involvement with BIOM is shrouded in darkness. According to each years published figures,VAP held a maiden stake of 5.38% in 2010, 9.61% in 2011, 10.04% in 2012 and in this weeks RNS he was notated as holding a significantly increased 14.56%. Despite his steadily increasing stake,no RNS has ever been issued providing us with his full details,as required by Schedule 5 of AIM rules. What do you make of that ? I am inclined to contact Biome seeking clarification/

Interesting,interesting,interesting Parpaing. If only the BIOM V.A.Pereira were an important cog at Sintex. I have been undertaking a little research and had come to the conclusion that VAP was a partner with Deloitte. I trawled back through every RNS since 2000 but could find no reference to VAP and his holding movements,except of course the very recent one. What position does your VAP hold @ Sintex?I agree that the synergies to be gained from a BIOM Sintex tie up would be significant. Looking forward to reading your findings

Not sure Parpaing. His timing was pretty good though. Others connected with the company are adding again. With cash equating broadly to the market cap and with its products just starting to reach the market place, BIOM's share price might just be due for lift off.Particularly if news flow turns positive.

The trades over recent days are peculiar,with the 384,763 and 342855 trades both mirroring identically sized trades a few days earlier. The two things that concern me most are the scale of current liabilities compared to current assets and the singular lack of traction being achieved. As you say.Dubuary,if BYOT came into play as a potential acquisition target,we would all come out of this smelling of roses.(imo)

More misinformation from sfs. Of today's trades, 686,363 were buys . The actual spread throughout most of the day was 5.75-6.00 pence.

Nevertheless I am encouraged by Traynor's frank assessment of the problems that Byotrol have still to overcome before net profitability is achieved and hopefully becomes entrenched. The half year end cash position at £500k++ at least allows our company a little more breathing space.

I am particularly heartened by the results and by the workmanlike tone adopted by CEO Traynor. "On costs we see substantial scope for reduction without harming the Group's prospects. We have already identified more than GBP500,000 of annualised savings." The half year end cash position at £585,106 looks then sufficient to see BYOT through to profitability.imo. The net loss is helped by that " substantial one-off payment from Kimberly-Clark Inc as part of the renegotiation of the license agreement signed with BCP in 2012." I feel this should have been quantified. "ISSUES" which concerned me in the past are certainly now being addressed.There remain hurdles in the way before Byotrol can move into the sunshine of success,yet there do seem grounds for renewed hope,if not optimism. Good to see confirmation that Byotrol is now listed in the NHS supply chain and that, " formal testing of our healthcare range is now underway in two UK hospitals and initial results are promising. The tests are being conducted in partnership with ISS, one of the world's leading facility services companies and very active in UK healthcare."

Sorry cleaningup if I failed to respond. I have tried to bring some positivity into the arena and yet this has been countered in places by a barrage of half truths and duplicity. Sharkfinsoup,I believe, would relish seeing Byotrol fail. I was hoping that an alternative poster would contribute in respect of your fears. Let us hope(having regard to our investments) that Byotrol prospers . I am of the opinion that future newsflow will serve to allay your doubts. After all,heavy investment continues into R&D to ensure that the product evolves to meet market's requirements.

sharkfinsoup. Your negativity in respect of Byotrol means that you lack the motivation to undertake positive research. Each of the three items mentioned in my last post are out there on the web and in much more detail too. At least Whatif remain very excited over BYOT future prospects. So much so that their man,David Traynor,is now CEO,whilst the other partners hold a significant stake.

Byotrol is expectant of a maiden procurement success in the forthcoming contract allotment. Only small(circa £175k)yet potentially the thin end of a serious wedge. Dubuary. Very succinctly put,if I may say so. Many shareholders have seemingly made the decision to sell their BYOT holdings over recent weeks/months. They may well regret such disposals imo. Byotrol remains an anti microbial formulation with huge potential to make a global impact. I have been adding relentlessly whilst the price remains sub 7 pence. Hopefully my investment strategy will be rewarded,eventually;even though their is a general lack of enthusiasm,currently, in regard to Byotrol's prospects. To start with I would like to take you back to 2005 when Byotrol filed the admission document: "The Directors believe the current environment in the global biocide market is very favourable to the Company and that several conditions are in place to support its growth. These include: (...) Public concern over biocide pesticide residues is increasing and is a major force for market change. Recent concern over waste water residues resulting from Triclosan use (...) and widespread concern over environmental impact of pesticide and biocide waste all favour Byotrol's technology." Conclusion: Byotrol will benefit if users of Triclosan stop using it. And now the REALLY good news for Byotrol: The FDA is and has been reviewing if Triclosan is safe to use since may 2013. Meanwhile it has allready been proven that use of Triclosan will lead to bacterial resistance. This probably was reason for Procter & Gamble not to await the outcome of the FDA review and announced earlier this month to eliminate Triclosan from all their consumer products by 2014 AND for Johnson and Johnson to do the same by 2015 !! For your information triclosan is very widely used in soaps, cosmetics, dental care, deodorants, cleaning products etc. etc. What are those poor producers of Triclosan containing products to do? You tell me. Turn to Byotrol? :) We sure could do with a P&G, J&J etc. contract. Besides that it can't hurt if we're losing a competing biocide that is broadly used on a large scale. The story is getting better every day. Recently some trouble with Dettol going on and now Triclosan really under fire. Just missed the recent 90% rise in BIOM shares ? Don't worry,they could well double again over coming weeks.

Recent steady buying of Byotrol shares suggests that we are about to see a series of upticks in the BYOT share price.In this event I look forward to resuming our discussion,sharkfinsoup,once that 7.5 pence level is achieved or breached. This could occur,hopefully,in the shorter term,imo.
