Just topped up another 500 in the portfolio. Dividend yield at the highest in months for March. One does wonder if the take-over chatter might pick up momentum again. Lets not forget Bovis Homes turned down several offers last year. With profits up and the SP down could this be an ideal opportunity for Redrow or Galliford to make another offer?

Yep times it by 10. Again not my full entitlement but added 25% to my holding 'Just incase'. I just have a feeling :)

Still sat on the fence. Have until noon to decide. May top up to round off my holding to 5 million. I do like the idea of a slot machine business. I imagine gambling is a big earner especially somewhere like Africa where legislation will be lighter.

Agreed this is on the way up buy does anyone know why Google is showing BVS as up 7% at 16.52 whereas all others show up at 0.9%? Glitch or is this opening high tomorrow?

I see other housing SP's are down. Bovis too and they've just declared potential record profits this year. One wonders how the SP behaves as it does at times. Bovis looks like it has bottomed out now (hopefully). What's this buy back?

Yes totally understand that but the dividend isn't all that important to me. They will recover quickly and produce me more of a profit than the dividend :)

Now a share holders in Bovis Homes. What a fab buy in opportunity. Been watching since the early Sep update.

These are well under priced imo. I predict a nice bounce back into the blue next week.

Ignoring the fact that TUI is one of the largest tour operators in the world, is multi-national including Germany (nothing will stop ze Germans from occupying the sunbeds), includes cruise liners and had a slightly different business model / differing destinations then you might be right...

But they are completely different companies. Nice try for a de-ramp but I think she's already bottomed out. Strong support at 59p.

I find the timing of this too convenient with TUI releasing their results tomorrow.... :)

If TUI have had a bad period could that not make TCG bounce back? One ponders.... They do say its who you know!

A good insight into what may come. I assume we wont be able to trade our shares once the merger goes through. That would be painful to watch especially if they regain value lol

The de-rampers on here make me chuckle. We have a profit making company that's suffered slightly and being shorted out like nothing else. I'm showing a 28% drop in SP at close today. Crazy for such a reputable company. I would not be surprised to see this open a lot higher.

Popped my Thomas Cook virginity today. Bought in at 57 first thing this morning, sold up in the 60's, bought back in at 58 this afternoon. Happy with that. Only annoyed that I mis-read that drop at the end of the day. I can see a recovery back to 70 before the end of the week. Buy, Hold, or Sell, but you'd be an utter moron to do the latter at this price imo (as someone did last thing today lol)

We can but hope. I'm still reporting back for news. If anyone is interested I think KGF (Kingfisher) has bottomed out after the recent slump this week. May be worth a look for a short term profit. As for this little number, it would be a dream come true to wake up and have hit a gold mine via this unorthodox route. As a 4 mill share holder I'd be a very happy boy :)
