From a poster this morning on the Corcel Shareholder Group "Spoke to a guy who worked at WoWo with the previous owners.. I asked about the viability of the project .. This was his response
Most of the higher grade ore is found in the saprolite zone and currently extraction processes are confine to the upper limonite zone which is usually of lower grade but has the cobalt credit..Much drilling has been done using auger drilling rigs which can penetrate to the top of the saprolite where it gets stopped by corestones..
It would be economically viable if we could process also the ore from the saprolite.. The coast is about 32km to the east, and the area has unlimited water sources for hydro power.. The community has be very supportive when I was there and would love to see the project kick off.. Generations have contributed manual labour to see that project get off the ground... They are a peaceful hard working people and fun to work with.. I enjoyed my years working there and would not hesitate to take up a position there..."
