Until we get news the market will view the Esl with suspicion due to the high level of debt. The appointment of Adrian Collins should be viewed as a good omen for the company. I have no doubt we will rerate to 18-25p in the next few months.

I could do with an RNS tomorrow stating a takeover at min 30p per share so I could tell my boss to stick his job lol, and I could then stay home safe until this Coronavirus thing blows over. I can only hope.

ESL does indeed have a high debt level but with the company trading at Christmas levels for possibly months on end, the future is looking good.

There is nothing that points to insider dealing in the RNS that have been released. If there is a deal being negotiated the BOD will not disclose anything until everything is finalised. Posters on this Board complaining about not having access to their money due to the suspension, I suggest that you put your money in the building society in future as there is always a risk with this type of investment. I got over a years wages invested in EUA and if there is a takeover at say 40p I will be retiring but if it goes down the pan, well I will only have myself to blame. GLA

Why are people so impatient for news on what’s happening. If a deal is being negotiated I would expect 6 weeks or more before we hear anything . It’s got to be the right deal for everyone involved or it won’t happen. The BOD are fully aware they have very valuable assets and will do their utmost to secure a favourable outcome. Given the current turmoil in the stock markets I am very relaxed about the suspension, at least the share price can’t fall lol. GLA

I’ve gambled on a few shares in my time but I do not consider this a gamble but an investment in a company that is lead by people who know what they want. This could take a few weeks but I’m confident of a favourable outcome. GLA

Given that the directors have 20% of the shares I think bodes well for all shareholders. They will want a good deal, if not the company still has a bright future. There is no point in worrying now, there’s nothing any of us can do while share is suspended.

The mediator in the dispute is due to present the findings either today or Monday, and there no way that will be in the public domain yet.Dip is most likely due to SAYE scheme maturing. I know quite a few are cashing in.

If the union decide to name strike dates and not adhere to dispute resolution procedures it could not only result in legal action but also the withdrawal from that agreement. Could be a nasty dispute, but lets hope not.

That is the trouble with dinosaurs they need lots of overpaid managers to keep them in line. Instead of cutting the frontline staff, cut the non productive managers.
