The Biscathorpe-2 Well

The well will be drilled to a total depth ("TD") of approximately 2,100 metres below ground level and is expected to take circa 30 days to reach TD. Biscathorpe-2 will target a structural/stratigraphic trap at a depth of over 1,800 metres below Mean Sea Level, defined on re-processed three-dimensional seismic data.

The targeted Basal Westphalian sandstone reservoir is expected to thicken at the well location to the north of the crest of the 'structural high'. This structural high was drilled by BP at Biscathorpe-1 in 1987 and encountered a 1.2 metre thick, oil saturated section of the sandstone reservoir.

The chance of success for Biscathorpe-2 is estimated as 40% and the range of gross Prospective Resources in million barrels of oil ("mmbo") as estimated by the Operator is tabulated below.

Could get results end of next week. imo

Should be getting that next week as JP back in last chatt that we should get an updated report in middle of January. imo

Its all guesswork at the moment.
Have we started the well test yet or are we still stimulating the well.?
What is ongoing at this moment?
What is the timeframe for current work programme.?
We don't know so we will have to keep guessing i guess.

If Biscathorpe-2 appraisal well is a success then skys the limit.
West Newton will take us the rest of the way up there. imo

The Company announced the preliminary results of the intermediate TE-10 logging results on 27 December 2018, which included a potential TAGI gross reservoir sequence from 1,899m MD to 2,009m MD and an initial net pay estimate of up to 10.5m, with an average porosity of 8%.The Company is also very pleased to confirm that a gas sample (comprising C1 to C5 hydrocarbons) was successfully recovered from one of these pay intervals at approximately 1,937m MD using a MDT (modular formation dynamics tester system). The successful retrieval of this gas sample confirms the presence of moveable hydrocarbons in the reservoir

We have good pores that can hold gas and the Gas flows which to me is a good initial indication of success.Now we need to test to see at what rate the gas will flow at.We only need 3mmscf/pd to be a success which with stimulation in my opinion should easily be achieved.

New environmental permit required as they expect West Newton to be a gusher and that's why they need bigger storage tanks.

Its good to see a nice slow steady rise as well. imo

We used to get loads of updates when Fiona was in charge.
Now i feel the Board treats us with contempt.
