Maybe we should reorganise this board with a chat system, where each post sticks to the chat initial title.

Admittingly I tend often to follow up last comment of a chat, even if got noting to do with the original title, but have noticed that in another investor room called Hot Copper, this system works very well.

Is a great way to save time and to add meaningfully to comments and research.

Today was one of the big one, US Job Reports data out below previous month and below forecast.

Going forward IMO I can't see the Fed wanting to rise rate further, surely CPI is the piece of the puzzle missing, out later on in the week.

Yes was forgetting Q3 production and AISC guidance update.

Hopefully will be positive news, considering that is likely Yan production forecasted will be beaten this year IMO.

POG of late seem quite strong, is holding well even with USD rising. Maybe the market is sensing that the Fed Reserve is running out of ammunitions to beat inflation . Perversely going forward more they rise rate and more is becoming beneficial to other asset, indeed right now, the best safe haven investment would be gold from a dollar denominated investment base, especially since main US indexes seem to have reached peak valuation.

We just need some confirmation news on production and operation and then the macros, should create decent support here, albeit volatile du to debt burden.

Not worth to speculate on short term debt repayment imv. The investment case here will maximise profit in 6 to 12 moths times min, with the upside of hopefully some spikes in POG.

Such a little coverage from main stream media, regarding BRICS meeting news.

I am kind of worry looking at the formation of this superpower, to be invested in pure UK assets.

Big dilemma, on one side they could carry on subsidising wars destabilising Countries and communities, on the other, they have to deal with rising cost of borrowing and a debt pile becoming ever unsustainable.

SA sorry have to disagree on Yanfolila at "much lower " production. Stockpile grade is still not too bad and beside, overall imo is likely that 80-90k/oz for 2023 will be beaten.

As mentioned b4 another important catalyst, will come from exploration essays, everyone is focusing on Kouroussa and financials, but the real value adding news are the essays.

On sp this is the dilemma for lower entry, timing for news is unpredictable meanwhile fundamental are improving, if one is invested here for the long term, imo even averaging up is not a good idea, but please DYOR.

Company plans are to repay debt by end of 2024 without considering any Dugbe sale.

Yes price of gold has to hold at these levels for that to happen, imv it will go much higher in 2024 if not b4.

Not much news out from mains media outlets, but BRICS meeting has ended with 6 new Countries joying in.

Just imagine South Arabia accepting other currencies for oil/gas sales ?!

If China start to buy oil for Russia or SA in Yuan or a crypto/gold backed currency POG will go to $3000/oz very quickly..

From a de-dollarization point of view this is the nail in the coffin imo.

The may not adopt the gold standard, but are already experimenting many different bilateral form of trade payments.

The weapons industry is still dictating the direction of our lives in some parts of the world, I come from the Hippy generation "peace and love" and am in disbelieve when reading still of people killing each other for interest.

It tuck me a good 15 minutes and and some strong coffee to understand the news, but finally got it..

Hum hinted at selling Dugbe in the latest Q2, even strong commitment to create shareholders value and pay down debt, points at that solution.

Now that final legal hurdle of ownership is done and with the Chinese or the BRICS Nation for that mater, looking for gold assets, cashing in on Dugbe should be easy.

This is only my wish though, I am thinking at recent Chinese offer of $200millions for Chaarat assets, which can be compared with Dugbe, DFS ready project...

Sure can't imagine the BoD not mentioning Kouroussa mine status on H1 date.

Hum sp of recent has gone against the trend by rising, when most of peers where falling.

Interesting today the opposite happened, where some sp rise have been quite substantial...

The general bullishness and extent of toady gold miners sp rise imo, comes at a great time, when we are expecting news from HUM Kour mine and H1 financials results...
