hence sentiment can change very quickly and there could well be a bounce back up.

But trust me, tariffs and the fall out of tariffs, will hit the economies hard, one can argue which economy will be hit the hardest, but the market won't like it, and it shows.

Over the weekend I saw a scary graph of a month chart of US index (any will do) with the MACD crossing downwards.

This is a long term signal and imo, not even if Trump (very unlikely)will backstep would change anything.

Hang Seng tech down 16%, fortunately I sold everything days ago and now all in cash, beside a small Canadian gold producer.

I also see the brave buying in today at opening, even before the US bounces, and then, will it be a meaningful bounce or a dead cat one?

Any re-retaliations from Europe or more from China will make sure the market goes even lower, I must refrain from gambling, and wait.

Will see what happen out of this caos, still it seems to me that the UK without US (NATO danger) and without Europe biggest market, is not in a good position. About GDP, it as nothing to do with Europe or USA, it all started when the billionaires where allowed to export our jobs to Asia, this was long ago with Obama. If at lest these extra profits from cheep labour would have been taxed properly, at least where could be still some money for social care (the one in need of course) or even to lover taxe for the low income or create jobs here at home. But we all know how so called democracy works, the rich pay for the politicians to be elected, nd the politicians exempt taxes for the rich. We commune mortals are left to balim Brexit, Europe or China, while we struggle to survive...Is a funny old world.

Just one minute here....EU might had been an answer to UK dooms but not necessarily the world impending doom.

I have aways believed in EU to counteract USA , and indeed UK would have been a very valuable force to stop this nonsense coming out from a continent like USA, which has no identity, no heritage , no culture and no history. If you really keen on LLOY shares, my advice is buy only if averaging down, but possibly wait a little longer.

I read that Monday coming, especially if US market opens lower there could be a potential bounce back up, which will be short lived. Then we enter Q1 results and revised number from many companies due to tariffs, notwithstanding further escalation from the world economies, in response to madman tantrums. IMO the guy is very unpredictable and he may extend some olive brunches here and there, when realising that his days are counted, but by now he lost all credibility for a leader of such importance in the world scenarios. Patience is required.
