Even if allower, is not going to happen, not in a meaningful way. Can you imagine hundreds of billions of good funneling via NI? Where is the infrastructures, logistics, and the extra costs, is it worth it all this, when Trump may wake up on morning and say....that it, NI 30% tariffs. lol

But what if the USA is throwing the last roll of the dices, in trying to rise tax revenue, to pay for their unsurmountable pile of debts?!

But when they realised that nobody like to pay taxes, the least the billionaire which got so much money printing from the Fed, but never pay them back, not with taxes and not with creating jobs at home, now the last chans, is the build at home, so that they can tax the workers. This is why the tariff numbers don't sum up and are arbitrary, clear example is Trump threatening now extra 50% tariffs to China.....where that comes from? This is why lots of billionaire don't like Trump policies but at the same time don't do much to rebell, actually they got all these nice jobs in government, just in case sh'it hit the fan. This is a massive gamble, they now they can't keep paying 4/5% rate on debt, banks are quietly subsidised, no wonder the first market reaction was some 10% drop on banks sp. This is unchartered territory, if I was Powell I would fear for my life, lower rates or a bullet in your head, you chose.

Just and example of how murky tariffs are.

Dam I clearly made a mistake to draw my res/support lines on NASDAQ chart, though it was going below support on the 5 min, but it wasn't...never mind

This is not a normal bounce back up from oversold, too much volatility and unpredictability. And we have another 4 years of this? Not even edged funds with automated trading will survive.

Was hoping for better returns but with the unpredictable Trump, more than happy to manage to make a profit.

Any investment from foreign firms into USA can happen only if the USD is much cheaper, for now they have stopped production out of this uncertainties which are here to stay for years to come, hence only a rubbish dollar can change that.

But what about Europe and the UK?

It seems to me that since the end of 2WW, the US has flooded Europe with all the kind of propaganda and goods, which the Europeans have happily bought and embraced (not like China..) more over the NATO saga, was just a proxy for US to keep military hegemony, even if Europ come short on financial contributions to NATO, almost all the weapons used in NATO are US made, it seems a great support of US war machine to me. For not mentioning the privilege to have the world currency, which was once tied to gold and then, single-handedly changed by Kennedy, no question asked.

Now they have handed manufacturing to Asia, and they where vary happy to do so to maximise profits.

Nobody in USA and actually in Europe too, before building production in Asia, made any conditions for the Asian countries, in exchange for creating employment and prosperity, they were too busy counting the money.

I suppose the truth is often in the middle, but in any case Trump and the US, need to be careful of any side effect, out of such a arrogant decision. If only Europe had the balls to send USA to frack off....

But European leaders are a bunch of spineless clowns, just worried about their useless job.

One as to watch the market minute by minute and trade as and when opportunity comes....

Awaiting the US market to open for a quick in and out, that will be tricky because its quite counter intuitive.

What I mean is, if the NASDAQ opens on par or even higher, there will be less puss behind, than if it opens much lower.

Momentum may be lost, and it may come back down of not have any meaningful move up.

The again maybe I am reading too much into it.

Piece of advice though, if you bought today and now in profit, remember your stop loss, just in case.
