If you really want to get a rough idea Ella you could guess the weight of the bag.... I would say approximately 1 tonne. We know there is about 2.7 tonnes per square metre I think. Find out the size of core and then half it as the core is split in two I think.
Do all of that and should get an estimate on the amount of metres sent to the lab. I'll leave that to you lol I don't have the time.

Maybe not all of it but I assume they would take sections that look the best and also take a sample from every 10 metres for example. I imagine it's very difficult to gauge by eye the difference between .1 .15 .2% copper so if it was me I would want to know what's in every 10 metres.

I assume they send all of it otherwise what's the point in drilling it.

Sorry to play devil's advocate again but I'm no longer a blind investor anymore..... $500,000 equates to £361,000 roughly. So far bushranger exploration for two drill phases has cost approximately £11,000,000.
If bushranger needs another phase then I can't see the African assets covering the cost unless we are all happy to save our African pennies for the next year or two.....that's not going to happen. I don't mind another £5,000,000 placing if it's going to cover another phase meaning racecourse is even bigger than expected, just don't tell us in the annual report that further funding won't be needed!!

Colin never learns lol assays were 5-6 weeks and now they are 4-5!! Why not just stick with the 5-6 just in case Colin.

I would want 10p by the end of year or something is not right! The first 8000m should be finished and all assays returned by then. If theres nothing to the SE or NW then we wont be above 10p. However if we do get some nice news regarding the NW and SE extensions then I see us flying past 10p.

Just hope the market realizes that not every hole will hit the good stuff.

I don't expect a large SP reaction as new private investors don't understand what's going on. Even us who have been invested since the start of bushranger are struggling to understand what the rns means.
Maybe colin will lay it out in an interview or give us the drill plan with numbered drill holes.

I hope they tell us what holes and when but I think they might just give us the minimum amount of news till we get the assays back.

I think it's disgusting how wealthy people and large companies get away with it and I guarantee no one will see the inside of a prison cell. All those investors shafted by the wealthy again!

Howzap I'm not suggesting it's a negative, Id rather have a 1mt open pit than a 2mt deep underground mine which would likely be less profitable.
I'm just getting tiered of being sold this and that and then things change. I remember when drilling the first hole colin said anything over .4% is a win and then we get .33% and the sp tanked. We were aiming for 2mt and now aiming for a decision to mine for an open pit.
We were told the last fund raising would pay for phase 2 drilling and 20,000m which would take 6 months from July....... Well let's see how that goes.

Andrew, yes the SE extension if proven similar to the current known resource will roughly double what we have. Extremely roughly I might add!
If so that in my book will only get us to 1mt, which is good as it's all open pit mine but I'm struggling to see a future rns with the magical 2mt at the moment.
Maybe that's why we hear less of the 2mt and more about the open pit Or is the open pit now the smoke screen because we were sold the 2mt target at the start and we won't get it?

Thanks for the reply peter. I to am very positive about the future of bushranger although a little bit miffed recently regarding the African timescales. I don't have any prior experience in investing in a discovery so am a little bit concerned of how long, how much funding and how much drilling this will take to prove up and sell. I am not interested in staying to build a mine, I don't want to wait that long.
I have been in xtract for approximately 4 years yet haven't paid much attention to the shareholders and directors. Just out of curiosity are you a private investor or have you been involved in xtract?
