I think Amigo will be first accross the line, no way that provident can get it through before us.. If atall. Provident are in very different circumstances than Amigo, reguarding still profitable in other areas of business. They also are not offering to pay a % of future profits, and are using this to just blatently pay less than is owed without a good reason. They will have their SoA judged on its own merits and wont just simply get theirs through because we do. :)

You would think it was a no brainer if you think logically. There was a point where it seemed the CMC's just wanted to see us fail AT ANY COST! They went as far as suggesting their clients (the complanants should vote against the scheme as they would recieve a few pence on the pound). Gary has since then made the point very clear that in the case of a failed SoA then complanants will likely recieve NOTHING due to a likely insolvency. Lets just hope some common sense prevails.

Saihaj - In short, the SoA is currently the most equitable outcome for creditors. If the scheme totally fails then claimants will likely be left with nothing as the secured creditors are first in line. Luckily the board thought up offering the scheme to ALL past customers since 2005 (1m customers & guarantors who will get SOMETHING) against the claimants that are just jumping on the bandwagon. It's to my understanding that most legit claims (that got a final resolution letter before 21st December 2020) have been dealt with.
