I don't think it's a no win. If they have the investors lined up to invest the £25m though CHP into ALBA then obviously they will want a low buy in price. But if the value of the investment, which will be into a fully licensed UK bank, is worth many multiples of the initial investment, then it's a win win for them and all other holders. If it goes through CHP will hold a significant % of ALBA bank

600 billion shares at the current mid price, ( 0.00275p) would raise 16.5 million...at 0.04p it would raise 24million + our initial million = the required £25 million.

If they have the investors to hand its a no brainer.

This is not investing in some 'potential' wonder covid drug. It's getting in with a new bank right at the start. Which now has a licence, just needs the cash

Warrie: someone posted a link a few weeks back to the 'new' alba bank website which is not yet live, but presumably waiting for a new launch when the licence is finally approved.

It's just a waiting game, and I think patience will be rewarded and selling now possibly unwise, although I understand the frustration.

It did at the time as the price went from 1p to 3/4p when he sold. ( to spreadex I think from memory). Lack of meaningful news has let the price there drift back down to below 1p again in subsequent years.

We're already at the bottom here....waiting for news! The uplift could be spectacular and timing of subsequent exit crucial.

His investment here was over £670k in the recent placing. I thought the name sounded familiar and I am presuming he is the John Story who invested similarly in QBT 4/5 years ago.

I was here before on and off, but this is way undervalued even without Alba. Hamas was previously a right off but the 10m shares we would get from converting are currently worth double the original investment of £300k
