I can't predict what news (material or not) we will get in a few days; however, our big investors have both mining experience (SQM) and deep pockets (Oman etc); the Chinese (SEPCO) have already "wasted" a lot of time and money on this project; so all parties have a big vested interest to see this to fruition. IMO
a new investor will spend months (as a minimum) assessing the whole project and if RoC revokes the license (and cause loss of money of those big investors which include Chinese too) then the new investor may want to avoid legal battles with the previous investors.
Bad news usually are released immediately, or at least there are rumours, insider trading etc; so I guess that things are still proceeding and we will know soon.

Last March, the SP (and volumes) started rising around the 23-24th March; results were out on 31st and Kola optimisation study on April the 1st; SP peaked around that time, indicating a lot of insider trading and leaks.
This time round there is complete radio silence. I guess there are 3 scenarios for the 31st (or thereabouts):
1. No "news" with the results RNS; this is the most unlikely scenario IMO (for reasons discussed here in previous posts); 20% chance?
2. Bad news with the results eg no Kola update, a cash raise/dilution etc; this is likely (30% chance?) but if that was the case, wouldn't we have some insider sales/leak?
3. Good news i.e. positive EPC update and/or DX partial sale, no fund raise etc - 50% chance? Again, no leak or insider trading yet, but I think that it'd be easier/preferable (opposite views welcome!) for the Co to keep good news under wraps (especially after last year's leak) than bad news.
In any case, I am just speculating so DYOR and Good luck for the week's end!

whatever happens, we know for sure that Helium is out; plus, someone bought its 2.97% stake and another 3.67% was also traded last week - so, about 6.6% of the shares have been traded between insiders in the space of a few days and amidst the market turmoil (plus, SP rose almost 50%);
So, I see that as a positive.

Jiving, it is quite possible if there's nothing to announce on the EPC; however, the Co must also provide an update re its cash situation, maybe any DX plans and whatever else is pertinent.
Not sure if the RoC Minister would be happy with just a holding statement about 'ongoing negotiations'.

New Swiss investor at least indicates someone with deep pockets has looked at MSYS and decided to take the plunge now.

And yet to see who bought the 3.67% as well.

I think we will get financials in May sometime - last year was 30 May.
After G Brandon's debacle with DVRG I expect a lot more caution with RNSs. IMO

The investor might also buy a stake in DX and leverage possible synergies, so I see this as very positive.
Silence by KP2 will cease in a few days; I assume that the Mgt are aware of all the issues, including the delays, the lack of news so let's be optimistic for the 31st.

In 4 days we will know ALB; I can't predict the future, I 'm just saying that the Mkt expects news (significant news) on various fronts, so we have to get something - whether these will be positive, or negative is anyone's guess.
Given the long period since October (almost 6 months), the assurances given to the RoC Minister in December, the preparation for new hirings etc, then if nothing concrete is announced re the EPC I will be hugely surprised.
Various scenarios can play out, with Kola, DX etc, so I try to be optimistic.
With a book value of USD 180mln, there is still a lot of value to play for.

I came across this info (stated as at 10 March 2023) on SimplyWall.st; it had a list of all holders down to 0.5% and the only one that had changed/ appeared from 3 jan to 10 March was this Swiss Fund Manager;
Obviously, the 3.67% has not been disclosed yet it seems as it does not appear anywhere yet.

ALB's prediction of the SP crashing to 0.50, has not been realised despite the global markets crashing - so much about your predictions ALB.

Helium's was 2.97%, so unless the Buyer exceeded the 3% holding threshold AFTER the purchase, no TR1 is needed;
The 235mln comes to 3.7% so whoever bought it (and sold it) has to issue a TR1; we must get one sometime next week IMO.

Whatever happens Rock, it's fair to say that the downside is rather limited, whereas the upside potential more than compensates for any wait/delay/risk.

No insider selling (for now) so that's a positive probably; No "leaks" of any sort yet, another positive I guess. IMO
What's definite is that we must have an update on various fronts - Kola EPC, DX utilisation possibly, update on cash situation/forecasts to Y/E 2023, relationship with RoC Minister, possible hirings etc.

I don't think so; it's just the insiders switching stakes - the TR1 will confirm this as one has to be issued to show who has sold 3.7% and who has bought this stake.
Most of the shares are tightly held (over 30% by insiders), plus there is another portion of shares to be issued to GJB, Glenn and staff in the next 3 years, so I wouldn't expect anyone to want the Co to be taken over;
In any case, the SP will soon rise further in 2023 IMO.

Last year Nigel Burton invested £200k and increased his stake to almost 5%.
If he has bought now another 425mln shares @£200k (appx), he will have 12% appx of the share capital @0.06p per share;
Wishful thinking? If that's the case, the SP will fly!

still, the XP is 0.10 so, why exercise now at an immediate loss?
It must be a trade between existing holders, ideally, the buyer of Helium bought some more, so a TR1 might show a new holder with a 6.7% holding.
