How these guys manage to buy at mid-price, rather than the Offer (3.87) I cannot understand!

If we got a proper CEO, with "clean" City credentials, why not?
GJB has set the new strategy perfectly (to his credit), I am not sure however if in the long run he's the right person for MSYS with the trail of destruction he has left behind at DVRG. it also depends what the staff think of him.

Funds raised in Nov 22 so no chance of another one so soon; recent RNS confirmed that Current Assets > C.Liab; so, Co's only option is to manage its cash flow more tightly; it has already negotiated pmnt schedules with its Creditors so cash inflows will come from managing Debtors better (trade finance?) and reducing expenses (salaries, layoffs?);
Maybe even selling LABSKIN off.

Well, he loaded MSYS with 1mln extra DVRG debt in H2 22, to facilitate DVRG whilst knowing that it was having cash difficulties; so, he jeopardised MSYS while he was CEO of DVRG; if this isn't a deliberate act of harm (and a conflict of interest), I don't know what is.

For sure the SP drop by 30% was due to the 1.4mln DVRG debt revelation;
If this was Gerry-related solely, then would we have had the rise early March, from 0.035 to 0.06? He was still a cro--k back then, directly responsible for DVRG's demise in Autumn 2022, right?

Rising 10% so far, if DVRG bottoms and then rises quickly because a contract will/has been announced then there is a double whammy:
1) risk of non-payment goes down
2) MSYS will probably make some money (10-20%?) out of the contract.

If one of those imminent contracts have indeed been agreed...

if the AFS2022 in 2 weeks show good growth, higher margins, new clients (outlook 2023) and the Auditors approve the Settlement plan , then MSYS is on the right track.
But GJB keeps on surprising us (negatively) so many times that the Mkt is not giving him the benefit of the doubt any more.

Yes, 0.60-0.58 appx, since 3pm (all BUYS after 3pm done at 0.60, indicating that the 5mln BUY order was placed just before then).

You are right, MTDog, Nigel will not be CEO of DVRG eventually; he will make lots of money from his 5% stake in MSYS and DVRG must be too stressful for him already.
So GJB and his "dodgy mate" will run MSYS.

All divisions are loss making, Muggins, so obviously it'd make no sense for the Co to sell at Book Value.
labskin is (was?) supposedly the jewel of the crown so if someone with deep pockets wanted the concept/brand/AI behind it, they'd pay more than the book value.
We are discussing assumptions, what if scenarios etc here, so you need to keep an open mind; some scenarios may seem and be far fetched but that's why we exchange views (some people, believe it or not, actually act in good faith).

Or sell Labskin for a few miln.

For the next few months a Placing will be impossible; only if new contracts are won, big ones, that require a lot of fresh WCap.
MCap now is 5mln, for SP to hit 3p we need a 500% rise and MCap going back to 25 mln; for that to happen, again, new big contracts need to be won (by which time, the warrant cash will not be needed).
Re the "imminent" new contracts, the RNS had added the caveat, "if won"; so, it's not certain that any or all of the bids will succeed.
I think people are giving the Co a few more weeks to get its numbers in order.

I think separating the business into 2 distinct entities (MW & Labskin) might mean that they will try to sell one - Labskin more easy to sell, I assume.

Co raised Placing money in November; without the Audited FS for 2022 being released first (unqualified), so that any serious investor has at least an idea about the cash situation, there is no appetite for a Placing;
They will have to trim expenses, delay pmnts to creditors, factor the invoices ideally or offer early bird discounts to Debtors, but no placing for sure.
