GLucks, you are right wrt the 50-100% discount at Placing time but we can't really blame Dan for wanting to get the funding out of the way in the FDA ODD excitement; I reckon he expected the SP to close at 0.35-0.40 (it was headed there) but he didn't account for the Placees selling into strength and killing off the SP rise. IMO Dan was thinking that he has bigger fish to fry and his focus is 100% on getting those p/ship deals signed the soonest.

IMO most, if not all, investors here are aware of the big upside; but what's the downside? that another eg year will go by w/o any p/ship deal being struck? How realistic is that? For the past 2-3 years the Co has been raising funds piecemeal, on a need-to basis, to minimise dilution etc. Now that it has both EMA and FDA ODD it has instead opted for a big raise, despite the dilutory impact; IMO this was done for a few reasons; a) Funds are needed to do various studies ASAP, to satisfy (more than 1) partners' demands b) Co is confident of a succesful outcome and wants to achieve this the soonest c) Co doesn't want any more business disruption in the next few months - until a deal is struck - worrying about fresh fund raises d) it wants to show interested parties that it's serious about getting a deal done (because of the 3 previous reasons). All in all, recent events have been encouraging, despite the delays (some beyond Mgt's control) therefore the upside potential more than compensates for any downside risk; IMO, we will have material, SP moving, news before the end of the summer. FFX, pls also have in mind that after the golden years 2020-2022 for pharma, due to Covid, money became tight after inflation shot up in 2022 (Ukraine etc), so even big pharma might have pulled back and/or asked for extra safeguards (eg EMA/FDA ODDs); so NFX was blown off course by these "requests"; is it also far fetched to consider - after "2 years of discussions" as you say - that NFX might be in negotiations with more than one partners at this very moment, which will be finalised over a period of the next few weeks? I understand that the past record has been bad but what are the arguments that nothing is actually happening?

Forgive my ignorance but don't such deals take time? Big and small pharma have other "fish to fry", their business doesn't revolve around NFX! Just for signing NPX001 over to OXilio, we had 5 RNSs (below), spanning 3 years; and this didn't involve waiting for ODD designations, or specific additional studies requested by multiple parties; IMO, we are getting there, sometime in summer is highly probable. IMO, this is just academic; ODD granted only 7 weeks ago (not sitting on it "forever", thus), clinical trials will take - after a deal is struck - 1-3 years, right? Then, the 7 years' exclusivity will kick on AFTER the FDA approves the final drug, right?

Thanks FFX; my post was about whether someone knows if any progress has been made, since 2023, by Oxilio on further developing NPX001 (OXL001) given the potential royalties NFX could be making. 3 years hence, there has been no update by anyone it seems?

Does anyone knows anything about Oxilio's (NON) progress with NPX001? It looks to me (older investors may have a different view, although FFX should agree with me :)))) that Dan messed up the 2023 agreement (eg by not imposing time limits to the exclusivity)? Nothing since then and Oxilio appears to have no money to further develop this? The below link "indicates" that they are raising funds from somewhere, but God knows how they assign that "valuation" by themselves; Fin Statements are unaudited (I assume due to the 2 employees they have!) and show no assets but plenty of losses. All comments welcome.

Quite positive IMO that sells are getting more infrequent and there is always a BUY to take them out.

And I have a feeling that, should people sell, SB will mop their shares up.

How incompetent are these Govt mandarins? Adien is already bust due to their delays; China is emmeshed into everything UK and Utsi's sale is the national security risk?? I'm still optimistic that SBayliss's buying into PIP was for separate reasons to Utsi's sale, let's hope we will hear about it before June!

Co is spending money on business development and spreading its message out; the puzzle pieces are steadily falling into place. GLA!

No SELLS so far, very encouraging; it seems also that SP is moving upwards despite the lack of news, another bullish sign.

5.14 paid, 4.77 BID

We have yet to hear about Utsi sale approval, or further extension; deadline today so news either tomorrow or Tuesday. If we get the sale approval, together with some restructuring update this should push the SP up.

IMO, as the SP keeps rising with profit taking getting smaller along the way, the remaining holders (us) will be handsomely rewarded by year end; still plenty of RNSs to come in next 8 months,

You are absolutely right Trombone " maybe over thinking things is a bad habit you've gotten into"; this is what prevents me from sitting on 99% paper losses.
