Same thing at Cineworld yesterday - no trailers. Wonder what that is about. They showed the thing saying "these trailer are suitable for the film category you are about to see" etc etc but then only showed the CINE welcome back thing with different actors talking about their favourite thing about cinema.

FINALLY got back to CINE this morning for a 10:40am showing of Cruella in the superscreen. Totally feckin empty - about 10 of us in there. Exactly the same as before lockdown as very few people are stupid enough to go in the morning :-) (We always do when it is available!) Dream Horse tomorrow, Kong on Monday, Unlimited showing of Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard next Saturday and booking Nobody as soon as I am able for next weekend. GLAD TO BE BACK!!!! Long live cinema (and especially CINE)

There will be popcorn and overpriced fizzy drinks at ALL showings! I may even venture into the realms of nachos! If there is a rise in the SP come Monday then I take full responsibility! GLA!

Someone selling 4M shares over the last 15 minutes or so on L2. Has now been whittled down to 2M (And the last of them just went at 7.5 as I was typing this - might see a bit of a boost in SP now those have gone!

At no point in that RNS does it state that "Insolvency still on the table due to the cost of a new SOA!!". Insolvency has been on the table all along. However, I personally do not see the RNS as positive, just depends how other interpret it. My "hope" is that a new deal will be/is being worked on and this time, with FCA input.

So..... will the SP plummet again or will the fact that they are going to work with the FCA to come up with a solution actually stabilize things a bit? Suspect the former unfortunately!

It seems the sarcasm plane flew so far over your head you might have missed it! Also, the $8B included all expected rents and rates at the time and most of that was not actual costs as everywhere was closed. Not arguing that we have a significant dent mountain to climb but it isn’t quite the size derampers would have you believe.

Also, they are doing targeted testing in hotspots so there was bound to be an increase, but they are also doing targeted vaccinations in these areas.

Mattwales was deramping in here before also. Think I’ll just add yet another to the filter list.

Getting a bit sick of being the only place in the known world still in lockdown!! (Glasgow)

They are going to update on Wednesday if we are to come out of lockdown on Saturday so if CINE are quick enough then I might still get to see a film or two next Sunday!

FunInvestor, the 3 seats rule in Scotland is annoying. Especially in the small cupboard like cinemas as you only get about 20 people in and it's considered full! Glasgow hoping for an announcement on L3 restrictions to be removed later today so hopefully get to see something next week(end). Not sure if it is a busy Glasgow thing but almost every time I see an unlimited screening is on, by the time I see it, it is sold out!

A (very!) basic guide...
The two columns represent the BID and the ASK. The left hand side is the BID - these are the amounts that people are prepared to pay for shares. (starts with highest price they are willing to pay and descends from there) The right hand side is the ASK - these are the amounts that people are prepared to sell for. (Starts from lowest price the are willing to sell for and ascends from there). The difference between the highest bid and the lowest ask is known as the SPREAD. The colours on each side just denote the top 5 prices that they are willing to buy or sell for. If the top of the Bid and/or ask says "MO" then the share is in auction. You can see the most recent auction price above the bid and ask window. (On a normal web page - mobile has tabs for different information). The buys/sells on the right hand side are live, as are the prices (as opposed to the 15 minute delay you get if you dont subscribe I think). That's most of what I know - dont take it as gospel :-)

That Amazon were going to buy MGM was old news - but that they have actually BOUGHT MGM has only been released and can only assume that is what caused the dip of around 6% (From +2 to -4 ish). Seems to be back up a bit now. Don't see why it should have a massive affect but then what do I know??
