Compare it with BT, when BT was at 110p , this dog was at 75p.. Now BT at 132p this is now well below that price ( taking off 3.9p dividend) If brexit applies to Vodafone then it should apply to BT too..

Even at 68p, no one thinks its a bargain share! And the management shows no interest on this either!

68.7p was the bottom so far... need to clear 70p first... Small retail investor wont make big difference to the big sell order from big institutions.

Short tracker wont show you any short positions below 0.50%. They only show above 0.50% as it need to be declared by the institution.

You dont need to prove short positions. Next week when they will buy back their position, this will rise back above 70p. without any reason.

Who is interested on this! Share price is on historic low .. People have lost and losing money. Agressive computerised algorithm based shorters are under control. Any good news soon turned into bad news ...any rise is shorted heavily. Recent downgrade (Exane) was from the guy who shorted Vodafone in the past... When they short, they will downgrade the share. All pure manipulation here..

Share price may rise again once these people enjoy their huge profit by closing their short positions..

Its against all the 4 providers.. so not a big issue.. They will defend it somwhow as its 4 against 1.. FTSE up today so I hope Vodafone follows the trend from here!

69.80p close! BT down only less than 2% after 20% rise since the result. This super share down 3.3% just on a broker downgrade.

Market super high now... Voda on 60's mean we will be looking for 59p soon!

This is not bargain share but a bargain trap...

I think 68p target is for them buy vodafone for cheap.. BT had many upgrades from brokers but Vodafone hardly any. BT went up with the market but vodafone stuck at 70p to 71p range. As I said before, if no significant news come before vodafone breaks below 70p, look for mid 60p price soon.

E& stake increase, three merger approval and vodafone italy news can make huge difference .. . But depressing share price will not make any big difference to this news!

Barclays raised the target from 90 to 92p! I consider this as good news..

Illiad rejected buyover talks has to bad news... But merger with swisscom is good new or bad news due to desperation!

Ftse down, therefore if vodafone goes up ( which I doubt!) then probably good news... otherwise all bad for falling Vodafone!

By the way, for any rise on vodafone share hedge funders short them heavily.. . They are not even leaving BT behind which had recovered over 20% since the result..

This one is a junk share.. luckily it's holding 71 so far... but won't be long when it will be trading on 60's range.

Look at BT and others all performing with the market but this share ain't.

Watch out for another future bad news before they permanently trade below 60p.

Yes dividend is pointless especially when the share price fell on the result... Theoritically it should have gone up like BT after the result from 110p to 121p and then dividend would have made sense.. But this lady director , dont have sense at all.. you have lost money and paying dividend... nothing adds up here.. She is same as Nick read and as bad as liz truss! All she knows is "lot needs to be done, not good enough!" I have been reading this since she joined as CEO.. LOL!

It was me!.. it wont happen today but may happen in the next few weeks!

Its ex dividend date today.. hence the fall.. Tomorrow will be record date... Therefore it may go sligtly up..

I hope it holds above 71p as BT is doing good (up 2%) with the budget announcement..

Last june before ex dividend it was 78p.. after that it went upto 69.7p before it picked up on the 3 merger news etc..... so expect the same to happen here... This time it closed at 74.92 , 3p less.. so unless something changes fundamentally we may see 65p at some point before any rise!

Excellent work from the lady director... from 90p to 70p... and now from 70p to 60p! I hope it stops here!

E&I need to confirm their intention to increase in stake to above 20% which they said may take 3-4 months on August for regulatory approval.. So expect above update in the near future..

This should push share price above 78p if we are lucky!

Also as US vodafone, share price now below $9 and 52 week low, we may test 69p again this time.. I hope any supportive news lift voda up above 70p before that happens..

Either way, you will lose either less or more than 4.5 euro cents as share price will fall accordingly.

Tomorrow is US bank holiday and thats why they went ex dividend today.. ex diviidend of 0.45 euro = 0.489 cents.. but they are down by only 42 cents.. not bad..

We are closed at 74.92.. so looks like we may test 70p tomorrow...
