It will be interesting to see the announcements made on this next week. Growing shipbuilding capacity/skills seems like it might be an area it may touch on. Separately, I read that Rishi Sunak will be briefing Jo Biden directly on the proposed Windsor Agreement to try and encourage a NI visit. Integrated Review refresh also due out on Monday. Treasury rumoured to increase defence budget by £5bn and also maybe looking at tax incentives in budget to support capital investment. Who knows :) but hopefully there will be good news in some of this for H&W.

The BGTP pipeline block valve and offtake connection works are nearing completion, allowing a connection to the new pipeline later in 2023.

Kilroot power station is part of a larger plan to create a £600 million energy park by EPUK Investments which represents the largest ever single investment in electricity generation in Northern Ireland.
