Why has there not been any RNS about this?? I thought it was big news? Or are Ocado deliberately trying to avoid sending a wrong message? Don't understand.

US market is closed today so I wonder if Ocado will still get some extra love from US investors later in the afternoon?

So I am not sure what's happening on that side but I would have thought short's should have come down. Let's see if we get notification today/tomorrow since sp has hit +620p.

What's interesting is that on Amazon rumours the Sp went to hit 630p high on the day and drop back to 570p by close. Currently the sp hit high so far of 623p but let's see where it closes. close of +615p would be a good result I guess.

615p resistence has been broken so I guess it's 630p next. Good luck those that are still holding.

ilm and theatre star Frances de la Tour has joined the fight against plans for an Ocado depot three metres from a north London school.

The three-time Olivier Award winner said the online supermarket’s scheme to build a distribution hub next to Yerbury Primary School in Tufnell Park was “absolutely terrible”, and that she would rather see the land used for social housing.

Ocado has been battling for permission to build the 24/7 facility since 2019 - and was told by Islington Council earlier this year, for the third time, that it could not go ahead with it.

The retailer has now launched an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate to try and get the council’s refusal overturned, but a group of local parents, children and residents, known as the NOcado campaign, are raising funds for legal representation in that appeal.

Ms De la Tour, who has been a local resident for more than 30 years and has a grandchild at the school, urged support for their fundraising efforts, saying: “It affects everybody, the whole neighbourhood…"

I am happy for you guys who sold at 615 or are still holding. Unfortunately, my nerves are very sensitive to fast reversals so I like not to stress and take my profits where I can. But hope you guys are rewarded very well in the long term.

No RNS so I just hit my short term target of 600p so I am out for now. The sp reversal risk is very high for me against small upward reward so I am out for now.

Looks like sp found the support at 570p - ticking up nicely. Looks like Rick has been buying lol

Exactly, that's the point, Sp drops sharp but only for 15-30 mins - shows that market makers are grabbing those stops for someone. small retail speculators get shafted in the process.

I think people were expecting some news today but none came so far - perhaps maybe some sellers are coming in now. Hopefully 570p holds.

I total think +£25k buy just went through but no change in Sp - looks like more volatility is on the way - hold on tight...

If you look at the past drops - news were already out but Sp just drops sharp by 50p-60p - it's as if Market makers and big shorters have a deal already in place. Drop 50-60p, grab stops - hand over shares to big shorters then let the sp recover over the next 5-6 days. Crazy pattern but only few are making big profit from it - market makers and shorters.

I think as long as the shorters don't make this drop by 50p in 10 minutes then that's all we can ask for today - hand in there Ocado.

In his new role, Ulitzka will grow the company’s relationships with current partners and bring new retailers to the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP).

He joins the online retailer from Amazon, where he worked for over 10 years, most recently as director of supply chain and inventory management for Europe.

Ocado is just 7% away from the 630p hit high on Amazon speculation - come on you can do it....climb climb climb...
