If you consider Phoenix Copper have a ~23Mt deposit at 0.77% CuEq and there market cap is £25m, our deposit (once JORC standard) should give us a value close to that (if not better). At a £25m m/c, that would be equivalent to 13.7p. Obv that is a very rough idea as it undervalues the higher metal content of Verkhuba + potential satellite targets against an overvalue on funding (future dilution) & PXCs more advanced project.
Gives you an idea tho of what we could be looking at.
Agree. That cash-burn also relates to their 5,000m DD campaign as well as 1,000m REE drilling campaign. Should be much leaner this year with 2,500m being drilled. I expect with the forthcoming up lift in SP a raise towards year-end but at amuch higher price.
To add to Nomlungu's point, how many explorers do you know Dudemug that have successfully transitioned into producers? Two completely different skillsets between them. A better question would be how quickly can we turn random drill holes into a compliant resource? The answer should be around 6months from now. Once we have a resource, if it's half decent then we'll likely draw attention from bigger players in the region.
Just seen Pancon (TSXV:PUC), who are exploring the previous Brewer mine and have hit multiple 100gram metre intervals, have just acquired two more contiguous licenses in Carolina. One is a previous mine whilst the other is what they believe to be a downtrend prospect of the previous mine. Both have prev. shallow intercepts similar to ourselves so they'll be trying to prove up a larger res over the coming months/years. Fittingly, they're changing their name to Caroline Rush Corporation!
Lots more activity in the Carolinas which will only bring more attention to our projects.
Any views on deep well potential if it comes in? I've seen previous close by fields 30-70m mmboe (Tolkyn etc.). Any ideas on stable rates from the deeper zones too? Van't remember the last time I was this excited and interested in an explo well!
Looks like things really turning here. Always knew this one to have issues with their deep drills but 802 looking good. Anyone have any links to older presentations with infographics/geo slides on deeper prospects? Would love to see/read up on some of the structures/target zones
Are these rumours based of the mining cadestre updates recently or something else people have seen? I noticed seis posted another one today which is exciting as its just adding to our confidence
I distinctly remember Bernard stating in a TMS interview, they ddin't want to release too much info on JKL in respect to geophysics as they were interested in acquiring land packages around their current tenements. Some of the magnetic and K radiometric targets lie outside their land packages - are we about to hear about new ones being signed? Could be a very exciting new year...
Too much to cover in the update but main takeaway, for me: geowork, in partiular potassium radiometrics, has proven their modelling concept and they're now targetting a Haile-like resource made of multiple closeby deposits.
The below article gives a brief overview of the geology at Haile and I think what is striking is the gold mineralisation associated to K feldspar, which we also see at JKL. Penultimate paragraph - "Mineral zonation is a quartz-sericite-pyrite±K feldspar±gold ? sericite ± pyrrhotite ? propylitic". This led to the recent discovery of Loflin South, which was some of the highest grades seen across JKL. Fantastic use of pathfinder elements to locate gold-bearing ore. Previous use of magnetics & chargeability data was useful but as seen in Loflin MRE, some sulphide bearing rock is devoid of any gold. Infact, its the demagnetised rocks coupled with potassium signatures that are the most promising. Really just following the Haile playbook.

Haile is 3m+ oz @ 1.71g/t Au. Now look at the exploratory targets compared to the current JKL resource, both expansions and satellite targets - truly looking at a potential Haile-size play. This is gunna be a wild 2017. Floor looks to be 5p placing too!
